In a town devoid of hope and a future, seventeen-year-old Yeon Gyu knows nothing beyond its bleak confines. Trapped in a cycle of violence at the hands of his stepfather, he clings to a single dream—saving enough money to escape to the Netherlands with his mother. Meanwhile, Chi Geon, a native of this forsaken place, has risen to the rank of mid-level boss in a criminal organization. Hardened by the belief that life is hell, he survives on his own ruthless terms.

When Yeon Gyu gets into a fight to protect his stepsister, Ha Yan, he finds himself unable to pay the settlement money. Chi Geon steps in to help, drawing Yeon Gyu into the underworld as a new recruit in his gang. Though initially terrified and out of place, Yeon Gyu gradually adapts under Chi Geon’s mentorship, who becomes a brother figure to him. As Yeon Gyu earns Chi Geon’s trust, he is pulled deeper into the gang's dangerous world, facing increasingly perilous situations.

In a desperate bid to escape the hell they've known all their lives, they find themselves sinking further into its depths.
