The drama immerses viewers in the intense lives of seven boys as they navigate the turbulent waters of adolescence and personal growth. Each boy battles his own demons—family obligations, loss, poverty, abandonment, violence, and rejection.

When Kim Hwan is forced to return to his hometown of Songju-si, he encounters six local boys who view him with suspicion due to his outsider status and his father, Kim Chang Jun's, reputation. Misunderstandings spark conflicts, but as Hwan and the boys begin to break through their initial barriers, they forge an unexpected bond. Their journey transforms from awkward beginnings to deep, heartfelt connections. They share adventures and play, opening up about their struggles and finding solace in each other's company.

As their friendship deepens, Hwan finds himself drawn to Songju-si and wishes these moments could last forever. However, Chang Jun, seeing the boys as distractions, pressures Hwan to distance himself from them. For the first time in his life, Hwan challenges his father's authority, confronting his emotions and the reality of his own desires. In this poignant battle between familial duty and personal happiness, Hwan must decide where his true allegiance lies.
