Summary of Kimi to Yukite Saku: Shinsengumi Seishunroku (2024)

Shinsengumi tells the story of two fictional young soldiers, Fukakusa Kyujuro and Kamagiri Daisaku, who become entwined in a tale of friendship and fate. After Kyujuro's father is killed, he joins the Shinsengumi to sharpen his swordsmanship and seek revenge. During the entrance exam, he meets Daisaku, a skilled and promising newcomer. Though the two quickly form a deep and passionate friendship, they find themselves caught in the turbulent era, bound by a tragic destiny that forces them to face each other as enemies on the battlefield.

Adapted from the manga "Shinsengumi" (新選組) by Tezuka Osamu (手塚治虫).
