Due to unforeseen family circumstances, high schooler Miko Sonoda finds herself moving into her uncle's boarding house, but things take a strange turn even before she arrives. While trying to navigate her way there, Miko is convinced someone is following her. Just as panic sets in, her uncle comes to her rescue, only to reveal that the mysterious "stalker" is actually one of his tenants—cue Miko's mortifying first day.

Thrown into a house with five quirky adults, including her so-called stalker, Jun Matsunaga, a hot-headed 29-year-old designer, Miko braces herself for what she assumes will be a nightmare. But as she gets to know her unconventional housemates, Miko begins to realize that living with adults might not be as overwhelming as she imagined. And as for Jun, their awkward first encounter might just spark something deeper than either of them expected—perhaps even the beginnings of an unexpected romance.
