Su Jiu'er, the daughter of a general, encounters the 9th prince while on the run from her stepmother who is trying to kill her. Su Jiu'er (Shao Weishi) is the sassy daughter of a general. Due to her noble birthright as her father's legitimate daughter, her stepmother has been out to get her. While on the run, she meets the ninth royal highness (Shen Haonan) and they fall in love at first sight.
