Love doesn’t come with an expiration date—and Lee Sang Min is proving just that!

On the May 20 episode of SBS’s 'Dolsing Fourmen', the singer and TV personality opened up about his whirlwind romance and marriage at 52, sharing emotional and heartwarming details of his journey to love, second chances, and his dreams of becoming a dad.

In a candid conversation, Lee Sang Min revealed he first met his now-wife—who is nine years younger than him—during a business meeting. “She was one of the people I was introduced to at the meeting. I got her contact info but didn’t think much of it,” he recalled. But fate clearly had other plans. “At the end of the year, I was messaging people in my contact list, and her name popped up. It was unique, so I remembered her. I just messaged, ‘How are you? This is Sang Min,’ and she replied right away.”

Co-star Tak Jae Hoon cut in, eager to get to the juicy part: “Yeah yeah, but when did you decide to marry her? You already registered your marriage. That’s not something people do on impulse!”

Lee Sang Min explained he quickly realized this wasn’t just another fleeting connection. “After we got to know each other, I sat her down and told her everything about my past—about the rental scam I went through. I said, ‘If we’re not thinking about marriage, I can’t go forward with this.’ She thought about it and later told me, ‘Talking with you makes me feel comfortable and understood. I think we’d benefit from walking this path together.’”

One of the most touching moments of the episode came when Lee shared an emotional story from their visit to his late mother’s memorial. Holding back tears, he said, “We went to my mom’s resting place, and my wife was the first to speak. She said, ‘I’m going to marry Sang Min oppa. Please bless us and help us have a child.’”

Cue all the feels—but also a little laughter. Lee lightened the mood when he added with a grin, “You know, I had my first kiss in nine years! We were on a car date, and I was being shy… She told me, ‘Close your eyes,’ and then she kissed me. That moment, I knew.”
