Former Crayon Pop member ChoA has shared an emotional update on her ongoing battle with cervical cancer, giving fans a glimpse into her journey of resilience and hope

On January 28th KST, ChoA took to social media to express her emotions as she continues treatment. She opened up about missing the simple joys of life, writing, "Recently, I went through a tough time. In the past, I would have shaken it off with a drink alongside my husband, but I can’t do that now, and I really miss it. On holidays like today, when family and friends gather, I’d love to have a drink and enjoy the moment, but I find myself missing the things that once felt so natural."

Despite the challenges, ChoA remains optimistic about her future. "These days, I dream of my life five years from now—fully recovered and sharing a drink with my husband after the daily battle of putting our child to sleep. It’s been almost two years now, so the day I get my all-clear diagnosis doesn’t seem too far off. As I look at the vintage wine my husband bought me, I eagerly await that day."

ChoA, who married a non-celebrity in 2021, first revealed her diagnosis in October 2023. She discovered she had cervical cancer during a routine pre-pregnancy checkup in her first year of marriage. At the time, she reassured fans with a positive outlook, saying, "It’s already been over a year, and I recently passed my fourth follow-up test. The tumor was much smaller than expected, and miraculously, I was able to preserve my fertility."

Her honesty and strength have touched fans, many of whom have flooded her comments with messages of encouragement and support.

ChoA first made her debut in 2012 with Crayon Pop, capturing fans' hearts with her bubbly personality and energetic performances. Now, she continues to inspire with her bravery and determination to fight for her health and future.
