The kitchen is heating up again — and nothing is slowing it down!
Despite swirling controversies around Baek Jong Won and his company The Born Korea, Netflix’s Culinary Class Wars Season 2 is officially in production and eyeing a release later this year.

According to industry insiders, the fiery culinary competition is aiming for an October 2025 premiere. Filming kicked off in late March, and sources say everything is progressing without a hitch. Returning to judge the kitchen chaos are none other than Baek Jong Won and Chef Ahn Sung Jae, who brought serious heat (and a dash of heart) to Season 1.

However, Netflix is keeping things cautious. A rep stated, "We are planning for a second-half release, but the exact release date has not been finalized." (Translation: Stay tuned, foodies!)

Baek Jong Won has remained active despite the controversy, recently spotted filming The Genius Baek 3 in France — footage that quickly made the rounds online. Meanwhile, his MBC variety show Chef of Antarctica faced some rumors of indefinite postponement, but MBC quickly shut them down, explaining the delay was due to election coverage and promising updates soon.

So if you were worried your favorite high-stakes cooking show would be on the chopping block, you can breathe easy. Culinary Class Wars 2 is on its way — and it’s bringing the heat this fall.
