Comedian and TV personality Park Na Rae recently faced a shocking break-in at her home, and now the man behind the theft has officially been caught.

According to Seoul Yongsan Police on April 18 KST, a man in his 30s — referred to as ‘A’ — has been arrested and forwarded to prosecution on charges of theft and trespassing. The suspect reportedly broke into Park Na Rae’s private residence in the Itaewon-dong area of Yongsan-gu on April 4, making off with jewelry and valuables worth tens of millions of Korean won.

The investigation revealed that this wasn’t his first break-in. CCTV footage helped police connect him to a separate burglary in the same district in late March. After reviewing the evidence, police charged ‘A’ with two counts of robbery and trespassing.

Fortunately, authorities confirmed that Park Na Rae was not targeted because of her celebrity status. The suspect had no prior connection to her and claimed he didn’t know who lived in the home when he committed the crime.

Fans of Park Na Rae have taken to social media to express their support and concern, with many saying they're relieved the suspect has been caught and are hoping she’s doing okay after the ordeal.
