💥 What’s the Story?

This hilarious and heartwarming K-drama follows Coach Maeng Gong, a former basketball star turned struggling coach, as he desperately tries to save his team, the Big Pandas, from missing the playoffs for the third year in a row. Just when things couldn’t get worse, his biggest online hater—who hides behind the username "Maeng Gong Extinction Squad"—ends up becoming his secret weapon!

💫 Meet the Main Players!

Park Sung Woong (Bloodhounds, The Smile Has Left Your Eyes) steps into the role of Maeng Gong, the once-legendary player who now struggles to connect with his Gen Z players. With his old-school coaching style and “boomer” attitude, he’s got a long way to go if he wants to turn his team—and reputation—around.

Park Sang Hoon (The Witch, The Queen Who Crowns) will play Go Hwa Jin, a high school senior and Coach Maeng’s #1 hater. Armed with sharp wit, a keyboard, and killer basketball skills, he’s spent years trolling Maeng Gong online—but now, he’s about to become part of the team himself!

Directed by Hyun Sol Ip, who previously worked on the special 2018 drama You Drive Me Crazy, this one-act, two-episode comedy special promises to bring laughs, underdog moments, and heartwarming life lessons to the court.
