Former Wonder Girls member Woo Hye Rim (Lim) recently spilled the tea on her early dating days with husband Shin Min Chul—and fans can’t stop laughing! 😂 During the latest episode of KBS2 TV’s The Return of Superman (aired on February 26), Hye Rim shared the hilarious story of how fans mistook her then-boyfriend for her manager while they were secretly dating!

Hye Rim and Shin Min Chul, who are now happily married with two children, first met at a Taekwondo gatheringhosted by Hye Rim’s father. But Hye Rim admits that she wasn’t exactly eager to attend at first:

"I only went because my dad said we were going out for steak. If it hadn't been for the steak, I would've thought twice about it." 🥩😂

Turns out, it wasn’t just fate that brought them together—Hye Rim’s mother played matchmaker behind the scenes!

Shin Min Chul revealed that even before they started dating, he had been exchanging secret texts with Hye Rim’s mother (smooth move! 😏). She explained:

"I wanted Min Chul to be Hye Rim’s bodyguard while she was alone in Korea."

She was worried about her daughter living away from her family and thought Min Chul could look after her. And he certainly stepped up!

When Hye Rim needed to attend her university interview, Min Chul took the role of a guardian and went in place of her parents. He even waited for her in the parents’ lounge—total husband material from the start! 💯💖

"I relied on him a lot back then," Hye Rim shared.

But the funniest part? When they started dating, Min Chul had to pretend to be her manager to avoid attention!

"When we were out on dates in public, people assumed that he was my manager," Hye Rim laughed. "It got to the point where fans would come up to him and ask, ‘Can I get Hye Rim’s autograph?’" 🤣

Can you imagine secretly dating a K-pop star and having to hand out her autographs instead?!

Fast forward to today, and the couple is happily married with two kids, recently welcoming their second child just 55 days ago! 🍼💞
