In the year 712 AD, during the opulent reign of Emperor Rui Zong of the Tang Dynasty, the empire’s splendor masks a brewing tempest of danger. Beneath the surface of prosperity, sinister forces stir and mysterious incidents plague the common people.

Enter Lu Ling Feng and Su Wu Ming—one a cunning deputy minister of the Grand Court of Justice, the other a shrewd registrar of Qianling. As they embark on a perilous journey westward, they find themselves entangled in a web of supernatural enigmas and hidden threats.

With each step deeper into the unknown, they confront eerie mysteries that challenge their wits and courage. The road ahead is fraught with unpredictability, and every shadow holds a potential threat.
