Mizuki, a marathon runner forced to give up her passion and join the “real world,” suddenly finds herself lost. Having dedicated her entire life to running, she lacks social skills and has never even thought about romance. The only thing that brings her any joy now is indulging in sweet treats.

When Mizuki takes a job at a luxury hotel, she quickly realizes she’s hopeless at it, bungling one task after another with no natural talent for customer service. One day, she crosses paths with Kaji, a brilliant pâtissier with a reputation for being a womanizer. Frustrated with how poorly her post-running life is going, Mizuki lashes out at Kaji. But instead of being upset, Kaji finds her fiery outburst inspiring—and surprises her by appointing her as his new taste tester!
