Within moments of being dumped by her boyfriend, tragedy strikes when her mother dies in a sudden accident. Overwhelmed by grief and exhaustion, Yeo Reum quits her job and escapes to a small seaside village called Angok, seeking solace in the quiet and a break from life’s chaos.

In Angok, she crosses paths with An Dae Beom, a once-brilliant math prodigy who has mysteriously retreated from the academic world to live as a reclusive librarian. Both carrying the weight of their pasts, these two broken souls find themselves drawn together. As they navigate the stillness of small-town life, the question looms: Can doing nothing in this sleepy seaside village really heal their hearts, or will their unresolved struggles resurface? The meeting of these two could either offer the peace they desperately seek—or stir up emotions they’re not yet ready to face.
