Choi Joon Woong’s job search has been nothing but a series of dead ends, leaving him frustrated and uncertain about his future. One fateful night, as he's wandering through the city, he encounters a man on the brink of ending his life. Acting on impulse, Joon Woong intervenes, unaware that this moment will change his life forever.

In the aftermath, he crosses paths with Koo Ryeon and Im Ryoong Gu, grim reapers who work on a unique crisis management team dedicated to preventing suicides. But Joon Woong’s life takes an unexpected turn when he falls into a coma, leaving him in a strange state—caught between the realms of the living and the dead.

Now, as a half-human, half-spirit, Joon Woong is recruited by the very organization he stumbled upon, joining the ranks of the grim reapers as the newest member of their team. Tasked with the solemn duty of saving lives, he embarks on a journey that will challenge everything he thought he knew about life and death.
