After a car crash leaves university student Chun Yu and her best friend, Qing You, unconscious, they awaken to find themselves trapped in a perilous VR game. To their shock, several other accident victims are there too, except for Gao Xuan, a substitute teacher who claims to have merely fallen asleep. With no escape, they must navigate deadly monsters, intricate puzzles, and psychological traps to clear each level and return to reality. But each time they "wake up," they're dragged back into the game the next night.

As the stakes rise, they discover that dying in the game results in a coma in real life. Tensions spike as more students are pulled into the game. With every night spent surviving and every day spent unraveling the mystery behind their predicament, alliances are forged and tested. Friendships and emerging romances are strained by the relentless pressure and sinister forces manipulating their fates. Can they decipher the game’s secrets and find a way out before it’s too late?
