Summary of Destined (2023)

Liu Yu Ru, the sole legitimate daughter of a fallen cloth merchant, lives a stoic life in a home where she and her mother endure constant mistreatment despite their noble lineage. A twist of fate and a grave misunderstanding lead her into a marriage with Gu Jiu Si, the notorious son of Yangzhou's wealthiest family, known for his reckless lifestyle and disdain for responsibility. Initially, Gu Jiu Si sees Liu Yu Ru as nothing more than a schemer, but as she acclimates to her new life and learns the art of business from her warm-hearted mother-in-law, the two begin to forge a deeper bond.
