The movie is based on real events to depict the unrevealed relationship between radio and war. During the Pacific War, Japanese military battles were supported by ''radio warfare''. The Japan Broadcasting Corporation and its broadcasters use "the power of words" to stimulate the fighting spirit and national prestige, raise people's morale and faith in victory, and make enemies confused with false information. Some broadcasters continue to struggle, protest, and agonize over the fact that they have to participate in inciting the country.
