Episode 5 begins with high stakes as Ha-na and Cheol-hee discover her car vandalized with the words “Get Lost.” While the police investigate, Cheol-hee finally opens up about his tragic past as a firefighter, sharing the heartbreak of losing his girlfriend in an accident. His confession deepens his bond with Ha-na, but things take a twist when In-a requests Ha-na to arrange a blind date with Cheol-hee.

Despite hesitation, the date happens, and In-a’s true motives quickly surface—she has little interest in Cheol-hee’s niece and nephew, even questioning their place in his future. Ha-na, meanwhile, grows increasingly uneasy, especially after spotting Cheol-hee and In-a growing closer during drinks. Tension builds as a mysterious parcel stuffed with Cheol-hee’s photos arrives at Ha-na’s house, followed by a revelation that the vandalism and threats are linked to Cheol-hee’s deceased ex-girlfriend’s brother, seeking revenge. Ha-na steps in to diffuse the conflict, showcasing her unwavering loyalty to Cheol-hee.

Episode 6 opens with a nerve-wracking moment as Cheol-hee races after his niece and nephew, who were seen following a strange man. The scare resolves peacefully, but trouble brews when Ha-na grows suspicious of Mr. Yang, who is working closely with In-a on a documentary about her “relationship” with Cheol-hee. Ha-na uncovers a shocking truth—In-a is bribing Cheol-hee’s brother to send the twins away, clearing the path for her picture-perfect future with Cheol-hee.

The drama peaks when Ha-na catches wind of In-a’s plans and rushes to stop Cheol-hee’s brother from sending the kids abroad. Her intervention highlights her fierce protective instincts, solidifying her role as a guardian for Cheol-hee’s family. But the storm doesn’t stop there—Ha-na confronts In-a at the documentary shoot, making it clear she disapproves of their relationship. As Cheol-hee processes these revelations, the episode ends with a tense standoff between Ha-na and In-a, leaving viewers eager to see who will win Cheol-hee’s trust—and his heart.
