K-Court Drops the Gavel: HOVERLAB Ordered to Remove Videos Targeting YouTuber Tzuyang
The legal drama just got real in the world of Korean YouTubers — and this time, justice is on Tzuyang’s side.
On April 17 KST, the 51st Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court officially ruled in favor of mega-mukbang star Tzuyang, ordering controversial YouTube channel HOVERLAB to take down all videos exposing details about her private life.
The court decision comes after Tzuyang filed an injunction requesting the removal of multiple damaging uploads — including one bombshell clip featuring an alleged recording of cyber wreckers Goo Je Yeok, Jeon Guk Jin, and Caracula discussing how they planned to extort money from her. Another video allegedly contained private information obtained through stalking — a major red flag that sparked online outrage from fans.
According to the court, HOVERLAB didn’t just "report" — they crossed a line. The judge stated that the channel uploaded the content with intent to harm, ruling that the posts violated Tzuyang’s right to privacy and amounted to defamation.
Fans quickly flooded social media in support of the beloved mukbang creator, applauding her for standing up for herself in the face of online harassment.
With this legal win, it’s a loud and clear message to cyberbullies: privacy matters, and crossing the line comes with consequences.
