According to industry insiders on March 3, Ryu Hye Young is set to play Lee Dong Wook’s younger sister in the upcoming SBS drama. If she accepts the role, it will mark their second time working together, following their fun chemistry on The Game Caterers Season 2 back in 2022.
Ryu Hye Young's agency, King Kong by Starship, confirmed that she is positively reviewing the offer but nothing has been finalized yet. Fans are already buzzing with excitement at the thought of the two actors reuniting on-screen under the same agency banner!
What is The Good Man about?
The drama revolves around a three-generation gangster family, with Lee Dong Wook’s character, Seok Cheol, at the center of the story. As the eldest son, he is willing to do anything to protect his loved ones, work, and romance. If cast, Ryu Hye Young will take on the role of Park Seok Hee, his upright and dependable younger sister who brings a sense of stability to their chaotic world.
With direction by Song Hae Sung (A Better Tomorrow, Maundy Thursday) and a script by Kim Woon Kyung (Yoo Na's Street, Cooking Up Romance), the drama promises a gripping mix of action, drama, and heartfelt moments.
