In a refreshingly honest moment during her guest appearance on the May 12 episode of the YouTube talk show Jjan-han Hyung (Bittersweet Brother) Shin Dong Yup, actress Seol In Ah opened up about a past breakup—and let’s just say, it says more about her ex than it does about her.

Joining fellow actors Jung Kyung Ho and Cha Hak Yeon, Seol was asked if she was currently dating. Before she could answer, Jung quipped, “Didn’t I once tell you you’re not the type who can date?” to which Seol playfully fired back, “Yeah… and you said it’d be hard for anyone to handle me.”

That’s when she shared the breakup story that had everyone talking. “I once got dumped because my ex said, ‘You’re too free-spirited. I can’t handle you,’” she revealed.

The reason? Seol decided one day she wanted to read a book by the ocean—so she hopped on a KTX train to Busan, totally on a whim. “I called him while I was there,” she laughed. “He asked where I was, and when I said ‘Busan,’ he was completely shocked.”

Host Shin Dong Yup quickly reassured her, saying what we’re all thinking: “If someone says they can’t handle that, it’s a blessing. It means you filtered him out early.”
