Fans of Nana (Im Jin-ah), the talented actress and former After School member, were left shocked after news broke that she and her mother suffered serious injuries during a robbery at their home.

On November 15, a man reportedly broke into Nana’s residence in Acheon-dong, Guri City, Gyeonggi Province, attempting an armed robbery. While early reports suggested that both Nana and her mother were unharmed, her agency, Sublime Entertainment, has now confirmed that both were seriously injured during the terrifying ordeal.

According to Sublime Entertainment, Nana’s mother lost consciousness after being physically attacked, while Nana herself sustained injuries while trying to protect herself and escape the dangerous situation. Both are currently receiving medical care and are resting to recover from their injuries.

The suspect, a man in his 30s identified only as “A,” was quickly arrested by the Guri Police Department. He allegedly threatened Nana and her mother with a weapon and demanded money, but thanks to their bravery, the situation was brought under control until authorities arrived.

Sublime Entertainment shared a heartfelt statement addressing the incident:

“Early this morning, a robber armed with a weapon broke into actress Nana's residence, creating a very dangerous situation that could have seriously harmed both Nana and her mother. As a result of the robber's physical attack, Nana's mother suffered serious injuries and lost consciousness. Nana also suffered physical injuries while trying to escape the crisis. Both are currently in need of treatment and complete rest.
The details of the case are under investigation, and we are fully cooperating with the police. We kindly ask everyone to respect the privacy of Nana and her family during this time and refrain from spreading rumors or speculations. Our company will do everything to support Nana and her family for a full recovery.”
