His goal is to protect his hometown elders from the same fate. His fervor for truth and unyielding stance against misinformation, however, earn him a reputation as a thorn in the side of his superiors, a stubborn rebel in the eyes of his colleagues.

Meanwhile, Cho Sam Dal, Cho Yong Pil's childhood friend, dreams of escaping their quaint village of Samdalri. Changing her name to Cho Eun Hye, she climbs the ladder in the fashion industry in Seoul. But just as she reaches the zenith of her success, a sudden downfall sends her back to her roots. Returning to Samdalri, she’s met with the name Sam Dal, the girl who never left.

When Cho Sam Dal and Cho Yong Pil reunite in their hometown, the spark of their long-buried connection rekindles. Old wounds resurface, but so does the warmth of their past camaraderie. As they navigate their tangled emotions and rediscover their old bond, they must confront the choices that drove them apart and the future that lies ahead.
