Hey, Love Scout lovers! This week’s episodes had EVERYTHING—romance, jealousy, shocking revelations, and high-stakes workplace drama. Just when I thought I could finally breathe, the show hit me with another emotional rollercoaster. Let’s break down all the juicy moments from Episodes 9 and 10!

Episode 9 kicks off with Eun-ho swooping in like a knight in shining armor to get Ji-yoon away from Jeong-hun’s overbearing father. Not only does he protect her, but he also reassures her that he doesn’t regret a single thing—because he can’t stand seeing her in pain. And just like that, my heart is a puddle.

The tension between them reaches a boiling point when they return to Ji-yoon’s house, leading to THE KISS. Yes, finally! Passionate, long overdue, and completely swoon-worthy. But of course, because this is Love Scout, the next morning at work, they act like nothing happened. Stoic expressions, professional distance—who are they even fooling?

Then, in comes Jeong-hun, apologizing for his father’s actions, and Ji-yoon drops the ultimate bombshell: she admits she’s dating Eun-ho. The man did not see that coming! (Neither did I, tbh. Ji-yoon, girl, are you sure you’re ready for the workplace gossip?)

The workplace drama intensifies when Peoplez competes against Career Way to land a massive CEO recruitment deal. Meanwhile, Jeong-hun confronts his father about his behavior toward Ji-yoon and then, in a surprising twist, invites Eun-ho out for drinks. What starts as an attempt at bro-bonding turns into an arm-wrestling match (lol, the testosterone in the air), with Eun-ho letting Jeong-hun win—because he’s classy like that.

Fast forward, and somehow, a completely wasted Jeong-hun ends up crashing at Su-hyeon’s place! His sheer embarrassment in the morning is GOLD, but what’s even juicier? He finally pieces together that Su-hyeon has been nursing an unrequited love for Eun-ho. Awkward.

Meanwhile, Peoplez zeroes in on a legal expert to fill the CEO position, but let’s talk about the real drama: Ji-yoon meets with a very attractive client, and Eun-ho is not happy. My guy straight-up sulks and heads to the bookstore to distract himself. But guess who ditches lunch with her client to show up at the bookstore and tease Eun-ho about being jealous? Ji-yoon! (I love how playful they’re getting. Give me more of this, please!)

But amidst all this, the drama dials up to 100 when Eun-ho starts tracking down the person who once saved his life. The truth? It was Ji-yoon’s father. Yes, the very man whose death has haunted Ji-yoon for years was the one who pulled a young Eun-ho from the flames before losing his own life. This revelation hits hard, and before we know it, Eun-ho is at Ji-yoon’s house, telling her everything.

And Ji-yoon? Completely shattered. She pulls away from his embrace, and Episode 9 fades out, leaving us all screaming into our pillows.

Picking up from last week’s emotional wreckage, Episode 10 is all about Ji-yoon processing the unimaginable. Her father’s sacrifice, the years of resentment, and the realization that she misunderstood him all along—it’s too much, and she asks Eun-ho for space.

Cue: relationship limbo. Ji-yoon distances herself from Eun-ho while drowning in emotions, and it hurts. It hurts.

Meanwhile, work doesn’t slow down. Jeong-nam, the employee Ji-yoon previously fired for lying on his resume, resurfaces and starts sniffing around Peoplez. He learns that Peoplez is considering lawyers and journalists for the CEO position, and something about him just feels shady… (Spoiler: he totally is).

But in the midst of Ji-yoon’s turmoil, she unexpectedly crosses paths with Byeol at a bookstore. Seeing how clueless Eun-ho is about little girl social dynamics (seriously, Eun-ho, how did you not know about birthday dress codes?), Ji-yoon takes charge and buys Byeol the perfect princess dress. Watching her bond with Byeol in such a natural, heartwarming way? My heart grew three sizes.

Finally, Ji-yoon visits her father’s columbarium, facing her past and finding the closure she’s needed for years. And when she returns to the office? She publicly holds Eun-ho’s hand—in front of everyone! That’s it. That’s the official “we’re doing this” moment. And I lived for it.

On the work front, Peoplez takes a huge risk with their strategy. Instead of just submitting a list of CEO candidates for NEXT, they conduct a full internal audit to pinpoint the company’s real problems—workplace discrimination and poor employee retention. Rather than flashy names, Ji-yoon presents a team of HR experts to fix the toxic work culture.

Meanwhile, sneaky Hye-jin tries tipping the scales in Career Way’s favor, but when Peoplez pulls out their game-changing strategy, they win the contract. (That’s my CEO! 🏆)

But just when things seem perfect, BAM—Ji-yoon wakes up to breaking news: the client who offered Peoplez company shares has been exposed for investment fraud. And just like that, the rug is pulled out from under her once again.

Opinion of Love Scout (2025)

What a week! These episodes delivered on all fronts—romance, heartbreak, office politics, and a whole lot of swoon-worthy moments. Let’s talk highlights:

💖 Ji-yoon & Eun-ho’s Relationship: Their slow-burn romance is reaching peak levels of delicious tension. The stolen glances, the teasing, the holding hands at work—I’m eating it up.

🔥 Jealous Eun-ho: It’s official. He cannot handle seeing Ji-yoon with other men, and I love it. Ji-yoon knowing exactly how to push his buttons? Even better.

😱 The Fire Revelation: This was massive. It completely redefined Ji-yoon’s backstory and deepened her connection to Eun-ho in a way I never saw coming.

👑 Workplace Wins: I love how Peoplez isn’t just about filling roles—they actually solve problems. Their out-of-the-box approach to the NEXT hiring case was so satisfying to watch.

🕵️‍♀️ Hye-jin & Career Way’s Shady Moves: I knew she had something up her sleeve, and I don’t trust Jeong-nam at all. He’s definitely going to stir up more trouble.

💔 Su-hyeon’s Storyline: Her emotional scene at the playground with Jeong-hun? Tears. The way she’s finally opening up about her son’s origins is so powerful.

And let’s not forget that jaw-dropping final scene. Investment fraud?! Just when I thought Ji-yoon was finally catching a break!

Overall, Love Scout continues to bring the perfect mix of romance, drama, and workplace intrigue. Ji-yoon’s character growth is incredible, Eun-ho is proving himself as the ultimate swoon-worthy lead, and the stakes are getting higherwith each episode.

I’m officially obsessed. What did you guys think? Are we living for the jealousy and hand-holding? And how do you think Ji-yoon will handle this latest setback? Drop your thoughts below—let’s freak out together! 💕
