Episode 6 of Face Me begins with a pulse-pounding rescue as Dr. Cha Jeong-woo bursts into the apartment just as Detective Min-hyung prevents Min-jae from stabbing her. The twist? Min-hyung had been recording the entire confrontation, with her junior officer listening in live. As the police arrive, Min-jae flees but is quickly captured on the streets, bringing a tense chapter to a close.
The truth spills out as Soo-kyung confesses to manipulating Min-jae, leading to the toxic dependency between them. She admits to pressing the mirror shard into Min-jae’s chin during a heated argument, exposing her role in the cycle of abuse. Meanwhile, Min-hyung faces a harsh reality when the falsely accused delivery man walks away from her apology, bitterly reminding her how society’s bias against ex-convicts makes redemption an uphill battle.

Hiding in the bathroom, the terrified witness alerts Min-hyung, who is caught at her brother’s house with Jeong-woo. The confrontation is explosive as Jeong-woo learns Min-hyung’s connection to the man who killed his fiancée.
In a race against time, Jeong-woo follows Min-hyung to Hyo-ju’s house, where the killer strikes. As Hyo-ju fights for her life, Jeong-woo and Min-hyung race to the scene, setting the stage for a dramatic showdown.

Episodes 5 and 6 of Face Me had me completely hooked! The twists and emotional depth in these episodes are next-level, and I couldn’t tear my eyes away. The confrontation between Min-hyung and Min-jae was intense, and the reveal of Soo-kyung’s manipulative role was so chilling. The show’s ability to explore such dark, complex relationships while keeping the suspense high is what makes it so addictive.
Min-hyung’s journey into her brother’s case added another layer of intrigue. The connections between Jin-seok, Nam Gi-taek, and the volunteer group are slowly unraveling, and it feels like we’re on the brink of a massive revelation. The way the show ties these threads together with Jeong-woo’s tragic past keeps the stakes personal and compelling.
Speaking of Jeong-woo, his strained relationship with his mother and the glimpse into his personal struggles made him even more relatable. The tension between him and Min-hyung after he discovers her link to his fiancée’s murder is so well done—it’s messy, emotional, and exactly the kind of drama I love.
And then that cliffhanger! The killer breaking into Hyo-ju’s house, the frantic call to Min-hyung, and Jeong-woo racing to the scene—it was all so nerve-wracking. I was literally on the edge of my seat by the end. These episodes are a perfect mix of suspense, character development, and heart-stopping action. If you’re not watching this show yet, you’re seriously missing out!
