Woo-jae’s jealousy boils over, leading him to confront Hae-yeong about her fake marriage. His misguided theory? That it was all a plot for revenge, and to his audacity, he even suggests rekindling their old flame. But Hae-yeong is having none of it, chasing him down with an umbrella in a hilariously satisfying moment of retribution.
Ja-yeon’s subplot takes a shocking twist when she discovers that her friend Ha-jun was the one behind the scathing online comments about her work, all in exchange for a job transfer from Gyu-hyun. The betrayal adds another layer of emotional complexity, leaving Ja-yeon grappling with newfound trust issues.
Back at home, Ji-uk gets a warning from Manager Jang that Jeong-a knows about his past and may come after Hae-yeong. Determined to protect her, Ji-uk helps her redecorate his room, leading to an intimate moment that nearly escalates into something more—until Gyu-hyun bursts in with a jaw-dropping accusation: Ji-uk is Gi-ho’s illegitimate son.
The episode wraps up with a hilarious epilogue, where Ji-uk, following some questionable online advice, sabotages household items to win Hae-yeong’s favor—only for it to blow up in his face, as we saw earlier in the episode.

This drama keeps delivering a perfect storm of romance, comedy, office drama, and everything in between. The show’s quirky brand of humor hits all the right notes, with each gag, antic, and playful animation still managing to be laugh-out-loud funny, even this far into the series.
Hae-yeong’s relentless drive to secure her success is an absolute delight to watch, especially as the calm and rational Ji-uk gets swept into her whirlwind of shenanigans. Their chemistry remains scorching, and Kim Young-dae’s heart-eyes expression in Episode 7 is enough to make anyone swoon.
What’s even more surprising is how the drama tackles deeper topics with Hui-seong’s storyline and Hae-yeong’s "box of shame" in the attic, subtly opening the door to a more progressive conversation about sexuality. It’s a refreshing and intriguing shift for a K-drama, and I’m eager to see how they handle it moving forward, hopefully with the same care and respect.
Meanwhile, Gyu-hyun and Ja-yeon’s plotline feels a little slower in comparison to the emotional rollercoaster of Hae-yeong’s chaotic life. But with so many moving parts, we can only hope things pick up for them soon.

K-dramas are notorious for the ‘dead fish kiss,’ but this time, the show flips the script by having Ji-uk freeze up in surprise, while Hae-yeong takes the lead. And just when you think that’s all, we’re treated to a second kiss that’s full of sparks, with Shin Min-ah and Kim Young-dae turning up the heat in a way that will leave fans swooning. While the conversation about consent might feel a little off, it doesn’t overshadow the electric chemistry between the two leads.
The pace of the drama continues to be a highlight, blending romance and comedy in delightful harmony. Although Gyu-hyun and Ja-yeon’s storyline is taking its time, the unexpected twist with Ha-jun keeps things interesting.
However, the looming threat of Jeong-a’s schemes might be a game-changer. The whole plotline about Ji-uk being the CEO’s illegitimate son has been simmering in the background, but so far, the series shines by keeping the romance and humor front and center. Let’s just hope the last four episodes stay true to that magic without getting bogged down in heavy family drama!
