A mountain town in rural Tohoku, where the traditions of the Matagi hunters are upheld during spring. Nobuyuki, a 20-year-old who assists his parents' work after graduating high school, finds himself growing tired of the closed-off lifestyle in this area but continues to go with the flow day by day.
