Hidden Identities, Fake Siblings & A Shocking Kiss!

If My Dearest Nemesis was a rollercoaster, Episode 5 just sent us straight into the ultimate slow-burn freefall. We got secret schemes, fake sibling antics, accidental farm disasters, and an unexpected K-drama-worthy kiss that has us SCREAMING. Let’s dive into all the chaotic goodness!

The episode kicks off with Ha-jin spotting Su-jeong and Ju-yeon outside her restaurant. Panicked, Su-jeong grabs Ju-yeon and drags him into an alley (classic drama move), leaving Ha-jin confused. But then it clicks—Su-jeong’s boss and Black Dragon are the same person.

(Ma’am, you are NOT ready for this drama.)

Meanwhile, Ju-yeon is fully enjoying the moment, fishing for compliments about his solid chest after Su-jeong accidentally notices. (Sir, please contain yourself.)

As a parting gift, she gives him a toy from the arcade, unknowingly mirroring his childhood treasure. And even though he hates fake merch, he refuses to give it back. (Someone’s getting attached…)

Over at Ha-jin’s restaurant, she’s trying to figure out Su-jeong’s feelings.

Ha-jin: “So, your first impression of Ju-yeon?”
Su-jeong: “Terrible. But now… he’s kinda nice.”
Ha-jin: “What about Black Dragon?”
Su-jeong: “No mercy.”

(Oh, the irony.)

Ha-jin then spills the tea to Shin-won, and both immediately panic. If Su-jeong and Ju-yeon fall for each other and find out the truth, it’s going to end in DISASTER.

Thus, Plan Separation begins!

  • Step 1: Ha-jin attracts single men to her restaurant, hoping to set Su-jeong up.
  • Step 2: Shin-won feeds Ju-yeon misinformation—telling him Su-jeong might like a coworker.
  • Step 3: Ju-yeon immediately daydreams about her liking HIM instead. (Sir, please focus.)

Result? Mission FAILED.

Na-na accidentally lets it slip that Shin-won asked about Su-jeong. Cue instant overthinking.

Ju-yeon rushes to spy on their “date,” only to find Su-jeong smiling at Shin-won. Devastated, he assumes she’s into his best friend. (Oh, the miscommunication.)

In reality? She just thinks Shin-won is trying to get her fired.

When she confronts Shin-won and leaves, Ju-yeon breathes the BIGGEST sigh of relief. But then—Su-jeong teases him.

Su-jeong: “What if I was into Shin-won?”
Ju-yeon: “…I wouldn’t like that.”
Su-jeong: [shook]

Sir, you literally just confessed.

At work, Su-jeong’s female superior messes up the brand deal with Ganghan Farm, leaving Su-jeong forced to fix it.

Ju-yeon, now a lowkey simp, follows her to the countryside (because obviously).

But plot twist—CEO An HATES chaebols, and in a panic, Su-jeong introduces Ju-yeon as her younger brother.

(His face? PRICELESS.)

Later, Ju-yeon complains, “Why couldn’t I be your boyfriend instead?”

Sir. You are down BAD.

To win over CEO An, they agree to work on the farm—which goes horribly wrong when Su-jeong slips and drags Ju-yeon into a muddy trough. (A K-drama rite of passage.)

Despite their chaotic farm fail, CEO An invites them to dinner. Over a VERY bitter side dish, Ju-yeon starts teasing Su-jeong, calling her “Noona” (older sister).

Su-jeong: “STOP IT.”
Ju-yeon: “Noona~”
Su-jeong: [dying inside]

(He is having WAY too much fun.)

But then, Su-jeong makes her pitch. She doesn’t want Ganghan Farm to sell out—she wants An to succeed and make money for her family. CEO An is actually impressed.

…And then Su-jeong accidentally drinks homemade alcohol.

Ju-yeon immediately notices, but it’s too late. They’re both too drunk to drive back, so they’re forced to stay the night.

Under the stars, Ju-yeon and Su-jeong finally open up.

  • Su-jeong: "I was bullied for not having a mom."
  • Ju-yeon: "I know what it’s like to be looked down on."
  • Su-jeong: "We really are alike."

They joke about their “worst first loves,” toasting to their terrible romantic pasts. (Oh, the irony… again.)

Back at the restaurant, Ha-jin checks in, and Su-jeong casually compares Ju-yeon to her little brother.

…Ju-yeon overhears.

And just like that, something inside him SNAPS.

Without warning, he kisses her.

Ju-yeon: “Do you still not see me as a man?”

…AND THEN HE KISSES HER AGAIN.

CUT TO BLACK.

A Kiss, A Blind Date & A Trial Room Confession!

My Dearest Nemesis is back with another hilariously chaotic, swoon-worthy episode, and Episode 6 might just be our favorite one yet! We’ve got sleep-deprived love crises, jealous fits, misunderstandings galore, and an unexpected trial room confession that has us screaming! Let’s get into the drama.

After The Kiss (yes, it deserves capital letters), Su-jeong can’t stop thinking about it. Neither can Ju-yeon, though he’s way too proud to admit it. Instead, he casually invites her on a morning walk.

Su-jeong: “Flattered, but absolutely not.”

(Girl, why are you lying to yourself?)

Ju-yeon, meanwhile, is suspiciously giddy, bringing her to a fresh spring to drink water like they’re in a historical romance drama. He’s all smiles, catching her when she slips—until suddenly, he pushes her away.

Now she’s even MORE confused. (Sir, what is happening inside that brain of yours?)

Flashback time! Turns out, Ju-yeon revealed his true identity to CEO An to secure Ganghan’s trust. Yongsung will now invest in Ganghan’s hospital charity and infrastructure, winning the deal.

On the drive home, Ju-yeon thanks Su-jeong for her hard work (which is basically his version of a love confession at this point). Then, in a bold move, he asks to play his playlist, humming along happily.

Su-jeong, however, is fuming. Why? Because he is blatantly avoiding The Kiss™.

Finally, she demands answers—and instead of fessing up, Ju-yeon calls it a mistake.

(SIR. EXCUSE ME?!)

Naturally, Su-jeong snaps, saying she never saw him as a man anyway, and storms off.

But it doesn’t end there. She loses sleep over it, gets so frustrated that she CALLS him, and… plot twist—he doesn’t even remember the kiss.

Ju-yeon: “The mistake was you getting us drunk and abandoning me for a phone call.”
Su-jeong: 😨 “You. Don’t. Remember. The. Kiss??”

(THIS MAN.)

Of course, he’s deeply offended by her “I don’t see you as a man” comment, setting off a full-blown identity crisis.

Determined to prove his masculinity, Ju-yeon starts acting extra. He even asks Kwon for advice (since her husband is younger) before fleeing mid-conversation.

At work, he singles out Su-jeong at every opportunity, even treating her whole team to an expensive buffet.

Of course, the office gossips go wild, and Su-jeong’s female superior implies she slept her way to the top. (RUDE.)

To make things worse, Ha-jin sets Su-jeong up on a blind date, and Ju-yeon overhears.

Cue: Instant bad mood.

But then, a MAJOR development—Kwon informs him that Grandmother has finally approved him. She will publicly announce that he’s her grandson and heir to Yongsung.

And just like that, Ju-yeon’s feelings for Su-jeong become a “waste of time.” He convinces himself that he must focus on Yongsung and forget about her.

(Yeah. Like that’s gonna happen.)

Su-jeong, now frustrated beyond belief, goes on the blind date with Ji-wu, a flirty, smooth-talking lawyer.

Meanwhile, Ju-yeon is sulking at a concert, convincing himself that he totally doesn’t care.

…Until he accidentally overhears a girl talking about “not seeing a guy as a man.”

And just like that—he remembers The Kiss.

Cue FULL-ON PANIC.

Determined to get answers, Ju-yeon rushes straight to the department store, still in his concert clothes, and drags Su-jeong into a fitting room.

Ju-yeon: “You’re my first kiss.”
Su-jeong: 😳 “WHAT?!”

As if that wasn’t dramatic enough, an employee tries to open the door.

And that’s where Episode 6 ends.

EXCUSE ME. HOW ARE WE SUPPOSED TO WAIT FOR EPISODE 7?!

DramaZen's Opinion

Opinion of My Dearest Nemesis (2025)

Peak Chaos, Peak Romance!

Episodes 5 & 6 were an emotional rollercoaster in the best way possible. From jealousy-fueled pettiness to a hilariously dramatic fitting room confession, this drama just keeps getting better, funnier, and way more chaotic.

Episode 5 gave us slow-burn perfection, with Ju-yeon trying (and failing) to ignore his feelings, only to accidentally kiss Su-jeong in a drunken haze. Meanwhile, Shin-won and Ha-jin’s matchmaking plan is a spectacular fail, and Ju-yeon spends half the episode sulking. (Sir, just admit you like her.)

And then Episode 6 came in swinging. Ju-yeon FORGOT the kiss, had an identity crisis, and spent the entire episode trying to prove he’s “manly.” Meanwhile, Su-jeong went on a blind date, and Ju-yeon pouted his way through a concert before remembering the kiss at the most random moment.

And then, THE TRIAL ROOM CONFESSION?! I am not okay.

🔥 Verdict? The slow burn is now a full BLAZE.
💯 Rating: 12/10 for misunderstandings, jealous meltdowns, and unhinged romantic tension.
📌 Favorite Moment: Ju-yeon dramatically dragging Su-jeong into a fitting room just to tell her she was his first kiss.ICONIC.

I NEED EPISODE 7 NOW. Who else is screaming?!
