Pop-Ups, Plot Twists & Public PDA Panic!

Episode 11 of My Dearest Nemesis is equal parts swoony, chaotic, and high-stakes—and we are loving every second! We’ve got corporate sabotage, fangirl-worthy anime moments, bittersweet romance beats, and one stubborn chaebol finally learning to be vulnerable. Let’s unpack the drama, the dates, and the dragons (yes, those dragons)!

We kick off with Ju-yeon throwing serious power-play energy into the business agreement with Hana City—uncovering that Director Park Ji-cheol is related to the mayor and knee-deep in fraud. Ju-yeon uses this leverage to get Grandma to agree to his comeback—but of course, there’s a catch.

The renewal project must be a hit… or Ju-yeon gives up everything and Su-jeong gets fired.

No pressure, right? πŸ˜…

Su-jeong is back at HQ, and everyone is thrilled—especially Ju-yeon, who’s so happy he can barely hide his smile (or his boyfriend energy). Their chaotic couple vibes are in full swing, and during lunch, Ju-yeon’s PDA nearly gets them busted. To cover it up, he… feeds Deputy Yang. πŸ˜‚ (Iconic.)

But with the good comes the bad. Rumors begin swirling that Su-jeong’s life has gotten “easy” now that she’s dating a chaebol, and though she brushes it off at first, it starts to sting.

Turns out, the anime event Su-jeong picked—Pirate King—holds a special place in Ju-yeon’s heart. The main character (yes, the Toggangyi plushie!) is the only thing he has left from his parents. πŸ’”

Meanwhile, Ha-jin and Shin-won are still emotionally tangled, trying not to think about each other (and failing miserably).

While prepping for the anime pop-up, the dream team (+ Shin-won) is back in action. There's teasing, grumbling, and more public flirting. Even Kwon is roasting them now, and we’re living for it.

Dinner with Ha-jin takes a more serious turn. She confesses she broke up with Shin-won because she's scared to trust again. But Su-jeong, ever the emotional translator, reminds her:

“Wanting to trust someone is love.” πŸ’¬βœ¨

We’re not crying, you’re crying.

Ju-yeon is working himself into exhaustion, and when Su-jeong finds out about his secret deal with Grandma, she’s livid—but also proud. He confesses he did it for her, because he knows how much she’s sacrificed. (Stop. Our hearts.)

Elsewhere, Ha-jin is haunted by Shin-won’s absence, and even her customers miss his lovable nerd energy. When she visits him, she finally admits she wants to be with him. But he, still afraid of hurting her, walks away. 😒

Just as everything’s coming together, drama strikes. Ju-yeon is caught in a viral video helping a kid, but the clip is misleading, and suddenly rumors explode about his character. Sponsors, performers—even the Pirate King creator—all pull out.

Enter Black Dragon mode. πŸ‰ Ju-yeon pulls every string he has and meets with the creator—who turns out to be his biggest fan. Thanks to a double whammy of Ju-yeon’s heartfelt story and Su-jeong’s earlier visit, the creator agrees to back the project and hold a fansign! (His first in Korea! Fanboy victory unlocked!)

The pop-up is a smashing success! Ju-yeon finally goes public as a proud fan, but Grandma is furious. He delivers the final blow:

“I don’t want love that hides who I am.”

πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘

Outside, reporters ambush Su-jeong with questions about their relationship. Ju-yeon swoops in, shields her like the prince he is, and tells them off. But the damage is done—Mr. Baek sees the news, and soon the whole family is getting flamedwith “She made it because she’s dating the heir” remarks.

As if on cue, CEO Mi-jeong texts Su-jeong with another offer, fueling her insecurities just as they start to resurface. 😀

That night, Ju-yeon and Su-jeong sneak away for a quiet date. He knows she’s hurting, and offers her an out:

“If it’s too much… you can leave.”

But we all know Su-jeong doesn’t give up that easy. (At least, we hope she doesn’t.)

Confessions, Careers & a Diamond Proposal! πŸ’ŽπŸ’–

We’ve made it to the grand finale of My Dearest Nemesis, and Episode 12 is the perfect blend of rom-com chaos, career glow-ups, emotional closure, and one sparkly twist on a 15-year-old proposal. Whether you came for the enemies-to-lovers banter, the secret otaku energy, or the sweet family bonds, this episode gave us everything—plus karaoke.

Let’s dive into all the bubbly, heart-fluttering moments from this swoon-filled ending!

Rumors are still swirling around the office, and Su-jeong’s hard work is being dismissed thanks to whispers that she “slept her way to the top.” (UGH, can we not?) Word gets out that Big Forest Mall is trying to recruit her for their U.S. branch, and everyone wonders: why hasn’t she said yes?

Cue: Ju-yeon telling her to take the offer.
Cue: Su-jeong being majorly annoyed. 😀
Cue: Ghosting.

Our poor chaebol is confused. Why is she mad?! (Spoiler: Because you sounded like you didn’t care, sir.) He turns to Kwon, who lays down the truth, but he’s even more puzzled—he was always planning to go with her!

Things get spicy (and a little salty) when Su-bin tattles that Su-jeong moved all of Ju-yeon’s Black Dragon boxes to his place. Ju-yeon rushes over and finds his apartment adorably decorated with all his childhood treasures—and dinner waiting!

Sure, she accidentally swapped sugar for salt, but Ju-yeon devours the Pirate King-inspired dish anyway. Why? Because Su-jeong did it for him. πŸ₯Ή

She reveals she’s not going to the U.S. after all. She’s staying—for the people she loves, for herself, and because she refuses to run away from stupid rumors. Queen behavior.

Elsewhere, Shin-won is still moping post-breakup. Ju-yeon gives him some chaebol-style tough love and calls him a coward. It works.

Shin-won drunk dials Ha-jin and ends up confessing his love on speakerphone at her restaurant. Chaos ensues, but when Ha-jin yells back that she loves him too, the entire restaurant CHEERS. (We were cheering at home, too.)

They’re back together, and Shin-won quits Yongsung to be Ha-jin’s business partner at Sulo! Talk about a full-circle career glow-up.

While visiting their families’ graves, Su-jeong and Ju-yeon share a tender moment—he admits he used to fear Grandma, but not anymore.

Back at HQ, Kwon tells Grandma straight-up that love isn’t weakness—it's what made Ju-yeon strong. Finally, Grandma pays him a visit, sees his newly decorated home, and apologizes.

“I was in pain and blamed you. But it was never your fault.”

Yes, we cried.

Inspired by Ju-yeon’s passions, Su-jeong tries to find a hobby. She fails hilariously—falling asleep during manga, getting tangled in yarn while knitting—but the effort is adorable.

To lift her spirits, Ju-yeon plans a countryside group date with Ha-jin and Shin-won. There’s competitive chaos, concert fun (Crack Shot cameo!), and a moment where Su-jeong admits:

“I don’t need a hobby. I’m happy living in the moment.” πŸ₯°

Su-bin becomes a firefighter (YES!!), and the Baeks celebrate. Turns out, Mr. Baek secretly bought Yongsung shares to support his daughter. πŸ’ͺ

Ju-yeon officially joins the board.
Su-jeong is promoted to Section Chief.
And the best part? The female superior defends her—and even apologizes.

“I should have spoken up more. Like you did.”

Character development? Check. βœ…

With Ju-yeon no longer needing job security, the couple tears up their contract. At karaoke, someone queues “Confession”—the song 15-year-old Ju-yeon used to propose in-game. Su-jeong panics, changes it, and Ju-yeon ends up drunkenly belting out rock ballads. πŸ˜‚

She later listens to his old voice recordings about her and secretly records one of her own:

“You’re cool.” 😭

After a concert date, Ju-yeon finds their old matching necklaces—the ones she rejected years ago. Then fate steps in as they witness a high school public proposal.

“Our feelings changed. But we were always meant to be.”

This time, he gives her a real necklace—diamond, sparkly, and accepted with a smile. πŸ’ŽπŸ’˜

We end on a cozy, love-dovey montage of Su-jeong and Ju-yeon being totally in sync—laughing, living, loving. She narrates:

“Fate is what we make it. And I’m glad my dark past became my love.”

Cue the happy tears and K-drama-shaped hole in our hearts. πŸ’«

Opinion of My Dearest Nemesis (2025)

The Perfect Ending We Didn’t Know We Needed! πŸ’–βœ¨

Episodes 11 & 12 were an absolute rollercoaster of romance, redemption, and full-circle closure, and I am still emotionally recovering. πŸ˜πŸ’•

Episode 11 brought all the drama: public rumors, viral chaos, and Ju-yeon nearly losing everything—including Su-jeong. But the way they pulled together to fix the Pirate King scandal? Chef’s kiss. Also, the Shin-won/Ha-jin confession going viral mid-restaurant?! ICONIC.

Then Episode 12 said, “Let’s wrap this up with love, laughter, and a diamond necklace.” We got Grandma’s long-overdue apology, Su-jeong’s well-earned promotion, and the sweetest twist on Ju-yeon’s old proposal. The karaoke callback to “Confession” had me screaming, and the final montage? PURE ROM-COM MAGIC.

πŸ’― Rating: 100/10 – emotional, hilarious, and deeply satisfying
πŸ“Œ Highlights:
βœ” Grandma’s redemption arc
βœ” Su-jeong decorating Ju-yeon’s apartment with his Black Dragon treasures πŸ₯Ή
βœ” The public proposal glow-up (with actual jewelry this time!)

I laughed, I cried, I squealed. My Dearest Nemesis truly gave us the chaotic, heartfelt, healing romance we deserved. πŸ«ΆπŸ’•
