OMG, I am LOVING this drama so far! It’s moving at such a satisfying pace, and watching Ji-won dive headfirst into her glow-up mission has me cheering. The way she immediately clocks Min-hwan and Soo-min for the snakes they are? Chef’s kiss. If it weren’t for her needing to play it cool for now, I just know she’d be cutting them out of her life faster than I can say “good riddance.” Ji-won’s been put down and ignored for so long, but you can already see her finding her spark again, and I am here for it.
One of my favorite things about this drama is how it’s showcasing girl power. Like, Ji-won’s not just lifting herself up; she’s also inspiring and supporting the women around her, which is so wholesome to see. There’s her teamwork with Joo-ran, the shy assistant manager who’s stuck dealing with a boss who’s the living embodiment of “back in my day” energy. And then there’s Hee-yeon, her bubbly coworker who doesn’t just brush off rude comments but actually claps back — and even puts Soo-min in her place. It’s honestly so refreshing to see Ji-won build this circle of strong, supportive women.
That said, this drama isn’t afraid to get real about the garbage women deal with. Watching Ji-won face off against Min-hwan, who went from whiny man-child to downright scary when she rejected him, was so uncomfortable but so well done. (Seriously, props to Lee Yi-kyung for playing such a despicable character so convincingly — like, I despise Min-hwan, but wow.) And don’t get me started on the victim-blaming cops or Ji-won’s awful mother-in-law blaming her for no kids when that’s literally Min-hwan’s fault. Ugh, it’s all too real sometimes.

No more fake earrings and humiliation, please — just Ji-won slaying and Soo-min seething.
The best part is how the show balances all this intense social commentary with fun, campy chaos. It’s tackling misogyny and privilege head-on while still giving us wild twists, satisfying revenge setups, and plenty of laugh-out-loud moments. Honestly, I’m rooting so hard for Ji-won to take control of her life and thrive. I’m super intrigued by Ji-hyuk (time traveler? guardian angel? both?), and I cannot wait to see Min-hwan and Soo-min get exactly what’s coming to them.
