Welcome to the rollercoaster that is Episode 1 of Spring Of Youth! From emotional blows to unexpected connections, this episode sets the stage with drama, mystery, and a dash of musical magic.

We dive right in with a young boy, Sa Gye, passionately practicing dance moves—until a mishap leaves him blind. But fate has other plans. Thanks to a cornea transplant, he regains his sight and eventually rises to stardom, joining the sensational idol band, The Crown. Talk about a comeback!

Fast forward to a glitzy concert and an even glitzier after-party, where Sa Gye’s life takes a sharp turn. He drinks way too much, and strange, fragmented memories hit him—a rainy street, a mysterious car. Weird, right? But that’s not all. Our guy has a recurring dream about a girl with a haunting melody and an oddly specific internal alarm—his eyes snap open at 5:45 AM, every single day.

Just when you think that’s enough chaos for one night, Yeon Seung-su from Jo & Jo Entertainment drops a bomb: Sa Gye drunkenly attacked the CEO, Jo Sang-heon, and the scandal’s gone viral. Whoops. Rushed to the company HQ, he’s forced to take a two-month break from the band and enroll at Hanju University. His idol life takes a hit.

On his way there, he crosses paths with Kim Bom, a young girl whose necklace—actually a tiny music box—plays the same melody from Sa Gye’s dreams. Coincidence? Yeah, right. But he’s too lost to figure it out then.

Meanwhile, Bom is hustling to make ends meet. She sells a song to Jo & Jo Entertainment, but leaves a cheeky note on the contract about the "mediocre" payment. Life isn’t exactly easy—her aunt is drowning in debt, and Bom’s stuck trying to save their home.

Back at the hospital, CEO Jo Sang-heon remembers Sa Gye’s attack and something way darker: Sa Gye said he "was there six years ago" and "knows what Sang-heon did." Suspicious much?

Sa Gye’s university life kicks off with awkward fan encounters, a disastrous Hamlet performance, and a mission: find the girl with the mystery melody. He finally tracks down Bom, but she keeps dodging him, guarded by her friend Seo Tae-yang (who’s clearly crushing on her). Tae-yang’s so protective that he straight-up flips Sa Gye over his shoulder when things get heated.

Sa Gye soon discovers Bom and Tae-yang are part of a university band and, being the stubborn guy he is, challenges Tae-yang for a spot. Their musical showdown is intense, but Sa Gye’s guitar string breaks, giving Tae-yang the win. Ouch.

As Sa Gye’s world crumbles—his scandal leads to a forced apology, loss of his band spot, and financial fallout—he ends up wandering the streets until he stumbles on Bom’s house. Except she’s not just some girl now. She’s his new landlord.

The epilogue adds a little twist: Bom realizes she actually saw Sa Gye before, at his concert, where he tossed a soft toy and promised a date to whoever caught it. And who got it? None other than Bom herself.

Episode 2 brings us a fresh wave of chaos, tension, and unexpected connections. Buckle up!

We kick off with Sa Gye’s shock at discovering that Kim Bom is the owner of the house he wants to rent. She’s reluctant to rent to a guy, but her aunt thinks having a famous tenant might be a win. With some strict ground rules, Sa Gye moves in.

Sa Gye notices an old picture of young Bom with a piano—the same one she plays at the restaurant. When she trips, he catches her and pushes her to reveal the truth about the melody. She admits it’s a song she wrote on the piano her mom gifted her at age seven.

That night, Sa Gye dreams of little Bom playing that melody. Fate’s playing tricks, and it’s only getting started.

Bom’s day takes a hit when her boss tells her that Sa Gye’s label is pulling products with his face. When Sa Gye shows up, she scolds him for not fighting back, knowing the scandal video is fake.

At Hanju University, Sa Gye starts recruiting for a new band but gets harassed by the boys who framed him. They won’t say who hired them, but we see them reporting to Kang Seok-hee, who works for CEO Jo Sang-heon. Sang-heon orders them to keep Sa Gye away from Bom.

The boys stage a protest against Sa Gye, and the chancellor gives him an ultimatum—300 sign-ups for his music club, or he’s out. Even Bom stands up for him, performing in a bear costume to rally support. They hit 229, but Tae-yang’s bandmates try to sabotage them again.

Surprisingly, Tae-yang flips sides, signing up as the 300th member after hearing his bandmates’ dirty tricks. With that, Sa Gye’s new band is born—Sa Gye, Bom, Gyu-ri, Tae-yang, and Jin-gu. They celebrate with a cake fight like true chaotic friends.

Things heat up when Sa Gye learns from Yeon Seung-su that Bom confronted Jo Sang-heon. Tae-yang’s band drama explodes too—his strict father smashes his guitar, pushing him to choose medicine over music. Tae-yang chooses music and moves into Bom’s house, squeezing into Sa Gye’s room.

Sa Gye begins to suspect Jo Sang-heon has a shady past. Meanwhile, Sang-heon has a nightmare about a car crash on a rainy street—a memory that wakes him at exactly 5:45 AM.

The new band finds a rundown practice room. While cleaning up, Bom and Sa Gye share a moment, but she soon has to leave for her part-time jobs. The worst blow? Her boss sells the restaurant piano, and she loses her job.

But Sa Gye buys the piano back and surprises Bom by setting it up on the rooftop. Their bond grows as they play music together—until Sa Gye notices Kang Seok-hee spying on them.

Sa Gye confronts Jo Sang-heon, challenging him to a drinking contest. He leaves with more questions than answers and gets flashes of confusing memories on his way home. Drunk and vulnerable, he hugs Bom and calls her "My Bom Bom," a phrase her mom used to say.

But it’s not just them—Tae-yang’s struggle between his dad’s medical dreams and his love for music has us rooting for him (even when he’s being a stubborn idiot). And Jo Sang-heon, the shady CEO with a mysterious past? Drama incoming! 🚨

Episodes 1 and 2 have given us so much—band chaos, family tension, mystery, and just the right amount of sweet and swoon-worthy moments. We’re talking cake fights, rooftop serenades, and a hug that whispered, “My Bom Bom.” Our hearts can’t handle it. 😭❤️
