We open with a gut-wrenching flashback to a year ago—the tragic death of Jung-hwa. Turns out, she was murdered after calling for a disciplinary committee to investigate Min-hwan and Pi Han-ui. And the worst part? She died protecting her own son, Gyeon-yeob, who was also stabbed. 😭💔
As if that wasn’t enough, Pi Han-ui’s dad KNEW what was happening but chose to look the other way. (Honestly? Not even shocked at this point.) After her death, the disciplinary committee was canceled, a Yeonbaek gang member took the fall for the murder, and Pi Han-ui launched his twisted ranking app—cementing his control over Yusung Technical High.
Back in the present, the study group confronts Pi Han-ui, hoping he’s at least a little rattled by the upcoming disciplinary committee. They start feeling hopeful that the tides are turning—but oh boy, are they in for a rude awakening. 😬
Meanwhile, Han-gyeong finally recognizes Gyeon-yeob and apologizes for not realizing who he was sooner. Gyeon-yeob warns her that it’s not too late to walk away, but Han-gyeong? Yeah, she’s not backing down for anything.

The episode kicks off with the study group gathering to strategize—Pi Han-ui must face the disciplinary committee. Sun-chul warns them that Pi Han-ui was linked to Jung-hwa’s death, and he’s convinced Pi Han-ui killed her to dodge the committee. That’s some next-level villain behavior right there! 😱
Determined to protect Han-gyeong and ensure the hearing happens, the group hatches a plan. But as we all know, nothing ever goes smoothly at Yusung Technical High...
As the disciplinary committee meeting approaches, Han-gyeong meets with Detective Na, who admits he’s worried he won’t be able to protect her. And honestly? Rightfully so!
The night before the meeting, the Deputy Principal calls Han-gyeong, claiming to have damning information on Yeonbaek Foundation and the school’s corruption. Shady, right? Han-gyeong, ever the warrior, agrees to meet him but preps accordingly—Detective Na wires her coat with a recording device to capture everything. 🔥
Spoiler alert: The call was a TRAP. After luring her to the school, the Deputy Principal confesses his fear of turning against Pi Han-ui’s dad. And then… the lights go out. 😨 He runs away, leaving Han-gyeong alone as Pi Han-ui, Min-hwan, and their goons emerge from the darkness.
Min-hwan steals her phone, thinking he’s destroyed any evidence—but he completely misses the recording device. Rookie mistake. Meanwhile, Pi Han-ui CONFESSES his involvement in Jung-hwa’s death, smugly informing her that Detective Na has been “handled” and won’t be coming to the rescue. Yikes.
Just as Han-gyeong starts losing hope, the STUDY GROUP arrives in full force! 😤
Ga-min quickly orders Lee-joon to get Han-gyeong to safety, while the rest of the group splits up to take on Pi Han-ui’s gang across the school. And let’s just say, these fights were next-level!
💥 Se-hyeon vs. Min-hwan – A brutal showdown! Se-hyeon holds his ground despite taking some serious hits before finally landing a game-changing blow. 💪
💥 Sun-chul & Ji-woo vs. The Gang – Sun-chul literally fights with a broken arm, while Ji-woo destroys her opponents. Iconic. 🔥
💥 Lee-joon vs. Anto – This one HURT. Fighting his childhood friend-turned-enemy was an emotional gut punch—but in the end, Lee-joon refuses to back down. 🥊
Meanwhile, Ga-min vs. Pi Han-ui was EVERYTHING we’ve been waiting for. At first, Ga-min tries to stall for time, but when Pi Han-ui reveals he sent his entire gang after Han-gyeong, Ga-min SNAPS. 😡💥
As Han-gyeong reaches the school gate, she finds herself surrounded by gang members. Just when things look grim, QUEEN HEE-WON COMES THROUGH. 🙌 She rallies Gyu-jin and other grateful students Ga-min helped, and together, they rescue Han-gyeong!
Back inside, Ga-min and Pi Han-ui are trading blow-for-blow, with Ga-min suffering a broken leg before FINALLY defeating Pi Han-ui. As Pi Han-ui lies beaten, Ga-min makes a promise—he WILL change the school.
The next day, despite bruises, bandages, and sheer exhaustion, the disciplinary committee meeting takes place. Pi Han-ui? EXPELLED. 🚨 And as if that wasn’t enough, Detective Na swoops in and ARRESTS HIM for Jung-hwa’s murder. 😱👮
Even while being dragged away, Pi Han-ui taunts Ga-min, daring him to try and fix the school. But Ga-min? He’s already won. The students delete Pi Han-ui’s ranking app, reclaiming their future and restoring order to Yusung Technical High. 💙
Meanwhile, the Deputy Principal is arrested, clearing the study group’s name once and for all. And in a beautifulmoment, Hyun-woo and Ji-woo reunite after his release. 🥺
Where Are They Now?

A Thrilling Finale Full of Fights, Sacrifice, and Justice!
Episodes 9 and 10 of Study Group took everything we loved about the series and cranked it up to eleven! From intense battles to emotional betrayals, the final showdown against Pi Han-ui had us on the edge of our seats. Seeing Ga-min and the study group fight to protect Han-gyeong, even as their school turned against them, was pure adrenaline. And that long-awaited Ga-min vs. Pi Han-ui fight? Absolutely legendary!
The disciplinary committee scene was chef’s kiss—Pi Han-ui finally getting expelled and arrested was beyond satisfying.And the moment the students deleted his ranking app? Peak catharsis! But just as things settled down, Han-gyeong’s surprise resignation left us with one final mystery. Where does she go from here?
