DramaZen's Opinion
Episode 4 was everything I hoped for and more! This drama just keeps getting better, and this episode delivered on all fronts—romantic tension, hilarious misunderstandings, and some truly swoon-worthy moments.
Let’s start with Kurosawa Tomoya. The scene where he hugged Aoi Morita and said “I can’t leave you alone” had me screaming! It was such a raw, emotional moment, and you could feel how much he cares for her, even if he’s too conflicted to fully admit it yet. But of course, Kurosawa being Kurosawa, he retreats back into his head, overthinking everything. The push-and-pull of his emotions is so frustrating in the best way—I just want him to be honest with Aoi already!
On the lighter side, Ozu Kyo had me in stitches. Her over-the-top reactions after hearing about Kurosawa and Aoi’s moment were so relatable and hilarious. And when Oshima Hotaru misunderstood her intense staring? Comedy gold! It’s these little moments of chaos that make the show so much fun to watch.
Then there’s Rei Sakamoto, who finally got his dinner date with Ayaka Ichikawa! The rainstorm that forced them to take shelter at her place was straight out of a romance novel, and I was living for it. Rei is so sweet and nervous, and I was dying to see if he’d finally confess his feelings. The atmosphere was perfect for it—rain-soaked clothes, a cozy home—it doesn’t get more romantic than that. I need to know what happens next with them!
But the highlight of the episode was Kurosawa inviting Aoi to his home. My heart can’t take the suspense! Is this finally the moment where he confesses his feelings? Or will he find a way to dodge the truth again? Either way, the stakes are higher than ever, and I’m on the edge of my seat waiting to see how Aoi reacts.
This episode was a perfect blend of emotional depth and lighthearted humor, and it’s making me even more obsessed with this show. Kurosawa and Aoi’s relationship is such a beautiful slow burn, and every little step forward feels monumental. Episode 5 can’t come soon enough—I need more of this rollercoaster! 😍
