Meanwhile, Gu Yi’s determination to chip away at his stoicism led to some hilariously sweet moments—and a budding love triangle with Xu Guanrui in the mix. Liang needs to get his head in the game because Guanrui is subtly biding his time before he sees an opportunity to strike. He is like a fox in waiting...lol
My heart skipped a beat when Guy Yi held Liang's face to show him what a smile should feel like. He jumped and bolted too fast, leaving for such an awkward situation. However, Gu Yi is so naive that she didn't even realize that he is starting to like her back.
I loved Gu Yi's mom! She is cute like a little kid who throws sharp jabs, but secretly has Gu Yi's best inetersts at heart. I found it interesting that with just a touch and a few words, Gu Yi was able to calm Liang down when he was speeding. This proves that she has a huge impact on him, whether he choses to admit it or not.
Also, I'm rooting for Yu Dule and Guan Xingxin to take this to a romantic level and start a blossoming relationship. However, I do think she needs to work on herself a bit and let him make her realize that she has a good side to her too. I think she can also help heal him from his past and make him feel that he is worth more than just a job position to make parents happy.
We almost had a kiss between our leads, but of course a drunken state ruined it all!!!! 🥺
