This week’s episode of Sorry Not Sorry brought us more kindergarten mom drama, an over-the-top sports day, and a surprising clash at the kids café. While romance took a backseat, the episode leaned into petty squabbles, hilarious misunderstandings, and some unexpected twists. Let’s dive in!

Picking up where we left off, Song-yi’s innocent mission to deliver handcuff keys to Jin-ho spiraled into chaos. The motel catfight took a sharp turn when the ajumma pulling Song-yi’s hair spotted her cheating husband’s mistress wearing her necklace. Song-yi, ever the underdog champion, switched sides and helped the ajumma give the cheater a piece of her mind.

Meanwhile, Jin-ho stumbled into the scene looking like a guilty schoolboy with black straps peeking through his white shirt. Naturally, the police arrived just in time to witness the chaos, forcing Jin-ho to awkwardly explain himself. Song-yi, wisely, left the keys in Jin-ho’s line of sight and made a stealthy exit. Let’s just say Jin-ho might rethink his adventurous side after this debacle.

Back at home, Song-yi’s next run-in with Hyun-woo was anything but smooth. Hyun-woo showed up at her door to apologize… on behalf of his client. (Facepalm.) While JG seemed to take a liking to Hyun-woo, Song-yi was less forgiving. The tension between these two neighbors is deliciously entertaining — and honestly, the chemistry is undeniable.

The kindergarten sports day was equal parts chaos and comedy, with Song-yi and Hana finding themselves in the crosshairs of the ever-judgmental mom squad. Song-yi brought Yi-ahn to stand in as JG’s “dad,” but the gaggle of moms wasted no time criticizing her. They assumed Yi-ahn was just a part-timer from the coffee shop, and their snide remarks about JG’s “absent father” were brutal.

Hana, however, wasn’t having it. In a display of sisterly solidarity, she clapped back with a mix of truths and half-truths, spinning an elaborate defense that left the moms speechless. (Hana, we stan!) Even Yi-ahn accidentally added to the misunderstanding that Song-yi is JG’s mom, leaving Song-yi exasperated but ultimately letting it slide.

The competitive spirit wasn’t limited to the moms — Hana’s husband and the head gaggle mom’s husband went head-to-head during the sports day events, escalating into a ridiculous rivalry. The drama only ended when another dad injured himself and had to be taken to the hospital. (Cue the laughter!)

As if sports day weren’t enough, the drama followed the group to a kids café, where tensions flared between Hana’s twins and the head mom’s son. Naturally, the moms jumped into the fray, with head mom accusing Hana’s family of having a “violent streak.” Hana fired back with both barrels, but it was Song-yi who really shone. Backed by Hana, she demanded an apology from head mom, refusing to let her sneak off in embarrassment.

The unexpected MVP of the day? Chan-yang, Jin-ho’s pottery-teaching wife, who happened to have video proof clearing Hana’s daughter of any wrongdoing. Her intervention turned the tables, and even Hana apologized for her own part in the yelling match — proving she’s the bigger person.

Just as things seemed to settle, Chan-yang dropped a bombshell. While chatting with Song-yi and Hana, she casually accused Song-yi of “having fun cheating with her husband.” Excuse me?! Turns out, Chan-yang’s suspicions about Jin-ho’s sudden bedroom boldness led her to do some digging, and she’s arrived at entirely the wrong conclusion.

This cliffhanger leaves us wondering how Song-yi will untangle herself from yet another misunderstanding. And with Hyun-woo constantly catching her at the worst possible moments, her love life isn’t looking any less complicated.

DramaZen's Opinion

Opinion of Sorry Not Sorry

This week’s episode was an absolute rollercoaster! From Song-yi’s handcuff key delivery fiasco to the kindergarten sports day madness, I couldn’t stop laughing at all the chaotic drama. Seriously, Jin-ho needs to rethink his life choices because that motel scene? Comedy gold. And Song-yi’s awkward run-ins with Hyun-woo are giving me life — their bickering is such a slow-burn tease, and I’m so here for it.

The sports day and kids café drama had me wanting to scream at the gaggle of moms. Can we all agree that Hana is the MVP? Her clapbacks were chef’s kiss, and I love how she has Song-yi’s back no matter what. Their friendship is becoming one of my favorite parts of the show.

And that cliffhanger with Chan-yang accusing Song-yi of cheating with Jin-ho? What?! I did not see that coming. I’m dying to see how Song-yi gets out of this mess next week.

This episode didn’t bring much romance, but the laughs and petty drama totally made up for it. Can’t wait for more Hyun-woo moments in the next one!
