By morning, the city had changed.

News anchors screamed warnings and denials. Politicians demanded answers. Conspiracy channels exploded.

But the real storm was on the streets.

Protestors gathered outside Blue Star buildings. Homemade signs. Fists in the air. Fear tangled with awe. Some demanded answers. Others demanded powers of their own.

Do Rin watched it all from the rooftop of a half-collapsed warehouse.

"They’re scared," she said, eyes scanning the city.

"They should be," Rae muttered beside her, tapping her gloves against her thigh. "The world just found out superpowers are real, and the only one offering them is a villain."

Below them, graffiti had already bloomed along the walls:

EVOLVE OR DIE.
STRONG WOMEN EXIST.
WHO'S NEXT?

Back at home, Bong Soon was on the phone with someone high up — someone who hadn't called her in a decade. When she hung up, her face was stone.

"The government wants to talk," she said.

"Talk or recruit?" Rin asked.

"Both," Bong Soon replied. "And they want you two to make a choice."

Rae crossed her arms. "No more running. No more hiding. If Mi Na wants to paint the future her way, maybe it’s time we start drawing our own line."

Bong Soon nodded. "Then you need to do something dangerous. You need to be seen."

That night, the twins hacked the feed.

Every major news station. Every phone screen. Every billboard Mi Na had used—they took it back.

Rin stepped forward first.

"You don’t know us. But you will."

Rae leaned into the camera.

"We're the daughters of strength. And we’re not for sale."

Together:

"We’re not evolution. We’re resistance."

And the screen cut to black.
