The countdown blared through the corridors: T-minus 90 seconds.

Rin sprinted ahead, overriding blast doors with speed and precision, each second cutting closer to catastrophe.

Behind her, Rae pulled Seul along, steadying her friend with every step. Seul was disoriented, still shaking off the neural override, but moving.

"Where do we go?!" Seul shouted.

"Up," Rae said. "We get topside. Ji Woo’s got an evac ready."

Rin’s voice cut in over comms. "East tunnel—service lift! It’s the fastest route!"

The ceiling cracked behind them. Flames licked down the walls. Pipes burst, spraying steam. The whole base was giving way.

The three girls burst into the lift chamber just as the ground gave a violent lurch. Rae hit the call button.

Nothing.

"Manual override!" Rin barked, ripping open the panel and slamming a bypass fuse into place.

The lift groaned to life.

They piled in. Doors slammed shut.

T-minus 38 seconds.

The elevator shot upward.

Rae held Seul’s hand tight. “You’re gonna make it. I promise.”

Seul shook her head. “I almost killed you. I could’ve—”

Rin turned from the panel. “That wasn’t you. That was what Mi Na did to you. You’re not responsible for her sins.”

Outside, explosions bloomed beneath them. Shockwaves rattled the shaft.

T-minus 10... 9...

“Brace!” Rin shouted.

The lift shot up the last floor, slammed to a halt.

The doors burst open to early morning light.

Bong Soon and Ji Woo were there, arms outstretched.

They grabbed the girls and ran just as the ground beneath them exploded in a cloud of flame and debris.

They didn’t stop running until they reached the armored van.

Inside, safe and breathless, Rae looked at Seul.

“You came back,” she whispered.

Seul nodded. “Not all of me… but enough.”

Ji Woo turned in her seat. “That upload you completed? It worked. The code's destroyed. Mi Na will have to start from scratch.”

Rin exhaled. “Good. Now it’s our move.”

Outside the van, the smoldering ruins of the server hub marked a turning point.

For the first time, the Resistance Sisters weren’t just reacting.

They were winning.
