By dawn, the city felt different.

The press dubbed it "The Day of Two Truths." On one channel: Mi Na's declaration of a new era. On another: the twins, standing defiant.

The world was split. And somewhere in that split, something cracked open.

Rin sat in the basement, analyzing new data dumps from anonymous allies—old Blue Star whistleblowers and rogue coders who'd seen the broadcast and reached out.

"This one's encrypted hard," she muttered, fingers flying. "Military-grade layers. Someone buried it deep."

Rae leaned over her shoulder. "Think it's another prototype file?"

Rin paused. "No. This... this is worse. It's an execution list."

Rae went still.

Names. Faces. Coordinates. Each marked with a single word: "Neutralize."

Bong Soon’s name was at the top.

So was theirs.

Across town, in a luxury hotel suite wired with surveillance monitors, Do Mi Na stood watching the list herself.

"The Resistance Sisters," she said, sipping tea. "Let’s see if they still smile when I cut off their air."

A young woman in a lab coat entered. Her arm bore the Blue Star insignia, but her eyes were uncertain.

"Ma'am, are we initiating Phase Red?"

Mi Na turned slowly. "Not yet. First, I want to send them something personal."

That afternoon, a small package arrived at the An family home. No return address. No postage stamp. Just a metal box with a fingerprint scanner.

Rae opened it carefully.

Inside: a vial of blue liquid, a burned security badge from Facility X13, and a note.

"You still think you’re fighting for the right side? Come see what your mother never told you." —M

Rin looked at their mom, heart racing. "She wants us to question you."

Bong Soon didn’t answer right away.

Then she said, quietly, "Because she knows I’ve kept something buried. And she’s going to force you to dig it up."

Rae stepped back. "What haven’t you told us?"

Bong Soon looked out the window.

"That your father was never supposed to know about the legacy. That we swore an oath, years ago, to keep our power out of public hands. And that oath... it came with consequences."

Rin’s voice was barely a whisper. "What kind of consequences?"

Bong Soon turned to them, eyes hard.

"The kind you can’t walk away from."
