A week passed.

The sisters returned to Seoul, where the world was still adjusting to life after Blue Star. The news cycle moved fast, but whispers of the Do sisters lingered like wildfire in dry brush—untamed, unstoppable.

Rin and Rae sat in the observation lounge of the National Science Council building, watching footage of their new lab being assembled.

"Feels weird," Rae admitted. "Suits instead of armor. Data instead of detonators."

Rin smiled. "We still fight. Just differently."

A knock on the glass door interrupted them. Ji Woo entered, holding a thin folder. “They’ve approved your first project. Field testing ethical augmentation for emergency responders."

Rae flipped it open. “So... we’re making firefighters stronger?”

“And smarter,” Rin added, already scanning the notes. “Improved cognition and reflex enhancement. Non-lethal tech integration.”

Ji Woo handed them keycards. “Full access. You’re officially in charge. No oversight committee, no private contracts. Public only.”

Rae let out a low whistle. “We broke the system… and now we get to rebuild it.”

Later that evening, they visited Bong Soon’s dojo—now repaired, repainted, and rebranded as the Do Legacy Center. Kids trained on one side, scientists and historians met in the back.

Bong Soon greeted them with hugs and snacks. “You’re still my girls, no matter how famous you get.”

Min Hyeok waved from a corner, helping set up a strength demonstration area.

Rae whispered to Rin, “I don’t think I’ve seen him this happy since you accidentally bench-pressed a car.”

“Twice,” Rin corrected with a smirk.

Their laughter filled the space. Honest. Free.

But just as they stepped outside into the twilight, Rae’s phone buzzed.

Unknown number. One message:

"She’s awake."

Rae’s face hardened. Rin read over her shoulder.

"Mi Na."

They stood there in silence as the wind shifted.
