Mia followed her future mother-in-law Amber to the Foster mansion after a successful shopping trip. She was still buzzing with excitement over the beautiful gowns Tiara had picked for her. "You’re going to look like a princess, Mia," Irene teased, but her words were sincere, seeing how radiant Mia appeared.

Amber smiled fondly. “It’s about time this wedding happened. My son is a lucky man.”

After dropping Mia off, Amber and Tiara exchanged a glance, the weight of the past heavy between them. Amber looked up at the mansion and sighed. “It’s so quiet now. It feels...lonely without Asher and Nora.”

Tiara’s expression softened as she placed a reassuring hand on Amber’s shoulder. “Let’s go. Some memories are best left as they are.”

At King’s Corporation

Eva walked beside Andrew, the two of them commanding attention as they entered the building. She felt every employee’s eyes on them and whispered, “Andrew, this is too much. Everyone’s staring.”

Andrew, always unbothered, leaned in slightly and said, “Let them stare. You are my wife, the queen of King’s Corporation.”

Her cheeks turned pink, but she managed a nod, swallowing the pressure that came with such a title. As they passed, she overheard whispers:

“See? She’s important to him.”

“They look amazing together.”

Andrew stopped abruptly and turned to address the whispering employees. “Back to work.”

The office scattered like startled birds, the silence punctuated only by the clicking of keyboards.

Eva excused herself to search for Aurora and Madeline. She spotted Edward, who greeted her with a warm smile. “Eva! Finally back!”

“Hi, Edward. Where’s Aurora?” Eva asked.

Edward rolled his eyes dramatically. “Busy flirting with her boyfriend.”

Eva smirked. “Jealous?”

“Why would I be? I have my Elina,” Edward replied with a sheepish smile.

After some coaxing, Eva learned Aurora was dating James, which made her laugh. “No wonder you’re stuck doing his work,” she teased.

Returning to Andrew’s office, Eva opened the door without knocking. “Andrew—” She stopped abruptly when she saw a striking woman seated across from him.

“Don’t you know how to knock?” the woman, June, said with a sarcastic edge.

Eva’s irritation bubbled, but she kept her composure, mentally cursing women who thought they could flirt with her husband. Andrew noticed her growing annoyance and decided to nip the situation in the bud.

“Ms. June,” Andrew said coldly, “watch your tone when speaking to my wife. Consider your deal canceled, and we’ll not be entertaining any future contracts with your company.”

June’s face paled. “I didn’t mean anything by it!” she stammered before storming out.

Andrew stood and walked toward Eva. “Sweetheart,” he began, but she cut him off with a teasing smile.

“You deserve to be punished,” she said, grabbing his tie and pulling him close. “Why are all your deals with women?”

Andrew’s throat bobbed as she leaned closer. “Hubby,” she continued, her breath brushing his lips, “I think my desk needs to be placed back in your office.”

She released his tie and turned to leave, but Andrew pulled her back, his arms wrapping around her. “Let me go,” Eva whispered, giggling. “We have a meeting.”

Andrew sighed, his lips brushing her hair. “You smell so good. It’s hard to let you go.”

A knock interrupted them, and Eva quickly pushed him away, adjusting her clothes. “Come in,” Andrew barked in frustration.

James entered, informing them the meeting was ready to begin. The three walked together to the boardroom, where Eva confidently began her presentation. She explained the success of their last launch and introduced Adrien’s summer collection.

After Adrien’s presentation, Leonard stood to address the room. “I’d like to introduce my younger son, Alex King. He will join as Chief Operating Officer alongside his brother.”

Leonard’s sharp gaze swept the room. “Any objections? If so, be prepared to face the consequences.”

Alex sighed at his father’s bluntness, but no one raised an objection. Andrew dismissed the meeting, and the family began to leave. As Alex caught up with Eva, he smirked. “So, sister-in-law, what did I interrupt earlier? Anything interesting?”

Andrew shot him a warning look, but Eva just laughed, feeling more confident in her place as the queen of King’s Corporation.
