Chapter 74 - Unforgettable Morning

Last Updated on 2024-11-23 19:53:36

The soft rays of the morning sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. Eva stirred as she felt a gentle shake, Andrew’s voice pulling her from her slumber.

“It’s already 8. Wake up, sleepyhead,” Andrew said, his voice low and smooth.

“Ahh…my head hurts,” Eva groaned, sitting up slowly and rubbing her temples. Her eyes adjusted to the light, and then she froze as her gaze shifted downward.

She was in different clothes.

“Andrew,” she asked, her voice tinged with alarm. “Did you…change my clothes?”

“Who else?” he said nonchalantly, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed. His piercing gaze seemed to strip her bare, despite her being fully dressed.

Mortified, Eva tried to piece together her fragmented memories of the previous night. Bits and pieces came back—her drunken antics, Andrew’s patience, and something about her running into the ocean in her bra.

“I think you owe me compensation,” Andrew said, a teasing edge to his tone as he stepped closer.

Eva gulped, her heart racing as she scrambled out of bed. “C-Compensation?” she stammered before bolting for the bathroom and slamming the door shut behind her.

Andrew chuckled, amused by her reaction. “Take your time, sweetheart,” he called, settling into a chair by the window, waiting for her to emerge.

When Eva finally cracked the bathroom door open, wrapped tightly in a towel, she peeked into the room and sighed in relief at the sight of an empty chair. Thinking Andrew had left, she stepped out cautiously, her damp hair clinging to her shoulders.

But before she could take another step, she was pressed against the wall, Andrew’s warm breath brushing against her neck.

“Let me go,” she gasped, trying to wiggle free from his grip.

“I’m the boss, sweetheart,” Andrew said, his voice a husky whisper. “No one questions me.”

“Andrew, please, not now,” she stammered, her heart racing as his lips hovered near hers, his intense gaze locking her in place.

“Then when?” he murmured, his lips brushing against her ear. “I can’t wait much longer, Eva.”

“You already left so many marks,” she muttered, trying to distract him.

“Ah, yes,” he smirked, trailing soft kisses along her neck. “My marks look beautiful on you, sweetheart.”

Eva shivered as his lips found her collarbone, nibbling lightly. “Andrew, we’re going to be late for work,” she tried, her voice trembling.

“We’ll take the day off,” he countered, his fingers tracing the edge of her towel before it slipped away, leaving her completely exposed.

“Andrew!” Eva gasped, her cheeks flushing as he took in her bare form, his gaze filled with hunger.

“You’re so sexy,” he whispered, pulling his shirt over his head and tossing it aside. His toned chest was a stark contrast to her softness, and she felt heat pooling in her cheeks as he leaned closer.

Andrew kissed her deeply, his lips moving with a desperate passion that left her breathless. His hands explored the curves of her body, every touch igniting a fire within her.

“Andrew,” she moaned softly, his lips trailing kisses down her neck to her chest.

“You’re mine,” he rasped against her skin. “Every inch of you belongs to me.”

Andrew worked his way down her body, kissing as he went until he reached her flower, placing a kiss there and causing Eva to yell out his name in shock.

"This is all mine, no one will ever see or taste you, but me," Andrew smirked before going back to tasting her.

Eva felt Andrew's finger enter her and she screamed lightly in pain.

"Andrew, it hurts," Eva cried through her moans.

"Shh...I'll kiss it and make it feel better," Andrew answered as he continued to bring her pleasure through the tinges of pain.

Eva felt an immense pressure build up inside her before she found her release. Andrew smiled at the look of pure bliss on Eva's face, knowing he was the one who put it there.

Eva couldn’t suppress the moans escaping her lips, but her haze of pleasure was interrupted by the loud ringing of Andrew’s phone. The screen lit up with the name Jessica, making her freeze.

“Answer it,” she urged, her voice trembling. “It might be important.”

Andrew growled in frustration but grabbed the phone. “Hello?” he answered coldly, putting the call on speaker. “If this isn’t important, you’re dead.”

“Baby,” Jessica’s sugary voice purred through the speaker, sending a wave of irritation through both Andrew and Eva.

“Yes, Jess,” Andrew replied, his tone flat. He threw the phone onto the bed, far from his interest, and turned back to Eva, pulling her close.

Jessica continued talking, oblivious. “Last night, you left in such a hurry. I missed you.”

“I had an important meeting with someone far more valuable,” Andrew said, locking eyes with Eva, a playful smirk tugging at his lips.

“Where are you now?” Jessica asked, her tone curious and flirtatious.

“I’m with that important person,” Andrew replied, cutting her off abruptly. “Talk later.”

He ended the call, muttering curses under his breath. “That demon doesn’t know when to quit.”

Eva chuckled, amused by his frustration. But before she could tease him, the phone rang again.

“Now what?” Andrew barked, only to hear Evander’s voice on the other end.

“Relax, lover boy,” Evander teased, clearly having heard Eva’s soft moan in the background. “The Lord’s orders. Assemble at the base. Now.”

Andrew sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose. “Fine. I’ll be there.”

He turned to Eva, his expression softening. “I’m sorry, sweetheart. Duty calls.” He kissed her forehead, tucking her into the bed. “Get some rest. I’ll be back soon.”

As Andrew left, Eva lay in bed, her mind racing. The events of the morning had left her heart fluttering and her thoughts in a tangled mess. She touched her lips, still warm from his kisses, and whispered, “Maybe… just maybe, I can trust him again.”
