Andrew wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close. "I’m sorry I wasn’t there when you needed me," he said, his voice thick with emotion. "But I swear, I’ll never let anything like this happen again."

Eva looked up at him, her eyes filled with love and trust. "I know, Andrew. I trust you."

He leaned down, capturing her lips in another kiss that was tender yet filled with unspoken promises. In that moment, they both knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, they would face them together.

A knock at the door interrupted Andrew and Eva’s moment. Andrew opened the door to find Irene holding a pen drive.

"This is from James," Irene explained. "It has footage of the wedding."

Eva stood silently, her hands trembling as she watched Andrew’s face darken with every passing second. "What are you going to do?" she asked hesitantly.

Andrew turned to her, his expression softening as he cupped her face. "I’ll make them pay for what they did to you," he said. "But first, I need to make sure you’re safe."

He kissed her forehead before turning to Irene. "Keep her here with my parents. No one leaves this house until I’m back."

"Be careful," Eva whispered, her voice cracking with emotion. Andrew cupped her face one last time, his thumb brushing against her cheek before he left the room with determined strides.

Andrew met up with Tristan and Evander in the car outside that was waiting for him.

“Laptop now,” Andrew ordered one of his men, who quickly handed him the computer in haste.

Andrew slammed the pen drive into his laptop, his jaw tightening as the footage began to play. The screen lit up with scenes from Josh and Celine’s wedding. Guests whispering behind Eva’s back. Celine spilling wine on Eva’s dress with a feigned apology. Jessica speaking with two men before disappearing into the crowd, her smirk chillingly malicious.

Then came the worst part. The men following Eva, their predatory gazes locked on her as she walked to the restroom. Andrew’s breathing grew heavier as he watched one of them slip inside after her.

Tristan and Evander sat nearby, their faces grim as they watched Andrew’s fury build to a breaking point. "You were right to take Jessica to the base," Andrew said, his voice dangerously calm. "She’s the mastermind behind all of this."

"What’s the plan?" Evander asked, his tone low.

Andrew’s lips curled into a menacing smile. "We make her regret every choice that led her here.”
