Chapter 109 - A Night to Remember, A Day to Part

The soft glow of the television lit up the cozy bedroom as Andrew held Eva tightly in his arms. His clinginess was palpable, his reluctance to let her go evident in every gesture. “I’ll miss you,” Andrew murmured, his voice tinged with sadness as he buried his face into her hair.

“I’ll miss you too,” Eva reassured him, her fingers trailing gently across his arm. She could feel the love and longing in his words, a warmth that made her heart swell.

Andrew, in an effort to savor every moment, had planned a movie night. The blanket was already laid out, snacks within reach, and he had even chosen the movie. As the opening credits rolled, Eva chuckled to herself. She should have guessed he’d pick something R-rated.

“Are you cold?” Andrew asked mischievously, pulling her even closer beneath the blanket. “I’ll keep you warm.”

Eva relaxed into his embrace, her head resting on his chest, the rhythmic beat of his heart a comforting soundtrack. The movie grew more intense, the actors onscreen locked in a passionate kiss. Eva couldn’t help but blush as her thoughts drifted to Andrew and the moments they had shared. She lifted her gaze to meet his, finding his eyes already on her, fixed on her lips.

“You’re the sweetest treat,” Andrew whispered before closing the distance, his lips capturing hers in a passionate kiss. Eva’s fingers wove through his hair as she returned the kiss, her body melting into his touch. His hand found her waist, his fingertips tracing her skin, igniting a fire in both of them. When Eva broke the kiss, her voice was soft but firm. “We should finish the movie.”

Andrew sighed dramatically, his disappointment clear. “If that’s what you want.”

The movie continued, but another steamy scene soon played out onscreen. Andrew noticed Eva’s shy reaction, her cheeks flushed a deep pink. With a bold move, his hand slid across her stomach and into the waistband of her sweatpants.

“Andrew!” Eva gasped, her eyes wide as she instinctively tried to close her legs.

“Trust me,” Andrew pleaded, his voice soft and full of desire. “Please, I won’t see you for a while.”

Eva hesitated but eventually nodded shyly. “Fine.”

The permission was all Andrew needed. He kissed her deeply, their passion growing as his hands explored her body. The room filled with the sound of their love, their connection more intense than ever before. They lost themselves in each other, their love igniting a fire that burned brightly into the night.

The next morning, sunlight streamed through the windows as the clock read 11 a.m. Andrew stirred awake, his arms wrapped protectively around Eva. He placed a kiss on her cheek. “Eva, it’s time to wake up.”

Eva groaned sleepily. “I’m so sore,” she mumbled, trying to blink the sleep away.

Andrew chuckled, his hand rubbing soothing circles on her back. “I’m sorry, angel. But it’s already 11.”

“What?” Eva jolted upright, her eyes darting to the clock. “I’m supposed to go home today! I’ll be late.”

Andrew’s expression darkened slightly, his possessiveness shining through. “Home? This is your home. I’m your home.”

Eva froze, surprised by his sudden jealousy. But she quickly softened, leaning in to kiss his cheek. “You know what I meant. Of course, you’re my home, but that’s my home with my parents.”

Andrew sighed, pulling her onto his lap and wrapping his arms around her tightly. “Sorry,” he murmured, his voice quiet. “I just felt insecure… that you might not come back.”

Eva cupped his face, looking deep into his eyes. “That won’t happen. You’re my other half now. I can’t live without you, and you better feel the same.” She hugged him tightly before standing up. “Now, I need to freshen up.”

As she walked toward the bathroom, she glanced over her shoulder with a playful wink. “Aren’t you coming?”

Andrew grinned, springing to his feet and following her. The two shared another intimate moment, their laughter and love spilling into the morning. They showered together, washing away the remnants of their passion and replacing it with a renewed sense of closeness.

After dressing and having a quick breakfast, Eva stood at the door, saying her goodbyes to the King family. Vanessa hugged her warmly, reminding her to come back, and Alex teased her about leaving Andrew alone for too long. Andrew, meanwhile, stayed close to Eva, holding her hand as if he couldn’t bear to let go.

Just as they were about to leave, Irene came running down the stairs. “Hold up! Wait for me. I’m coming with you!” she called out breathlessly, reaching the door just in time.

Eva exchanged a knowing smile with Irene, fully aware of her reason for wanting to go to the Foster mansion. “Let’s go,” Eva said, her heart both heavy with the thought of leaving Andrew and light with the knowledge of how much he loved her.
