Fated To Save You- By: Tina Marie
Chapter 1 - The Darkest Night
The dim glow of the hotel room's single light flickered, casting twisted shadows across the walls. The air was heavy with a tension that suffocated, as if the room itself held its breath, waiting for the unspeakable to unfold.
Wren’s pulse raced, her heart pounding in her ears as Trevor shoved her onto the bed. The familiar scent of him now felt like poison, and his once comforting presence had turned menacing. Panic surged through her as she struggled beneath him, tears streaming down her face.
“Why are you doing this to me?” she sobbed, her voice trembling with fear.
Trevor’s eyes were cold, devoid of the warmth she once believed was love. He sneered, leaning closer, his breath hot against her skin. “Come on, Babe… you know you want this.”
Wren’s stomach churned as she felt the weight of him pressing down on her. “No, I don’t. This isn’t you, Trevor. Why are you acting this way?”
A cruel laugh escaped his lips, echoing in the small room. “You don’t know me, Babe. I’ve waited long enough.”
As his lips found her neck, Wren’s world spun into a nightmare. His kisses were not those of love but of possession, each bite leaving dark bruises on her skin, marking her as his. She squirmed beneath him, trying to push him away, but his grip was iron, unyielding.
“You love me,” she whimpered, desperation lacing her words. “You wouldn’t hurt me like this.”
Trevor’s laughter was cold, a chilling sound that sent shivers down her spine. “Love you? I don’t love you… I just wanted your money.”
Wren’s mind reeled, the words like a dagger to her heart. “No, that’s not true.”
Trevor grinned, his expression dark and twisted. “Keep lying to yourself, Wren. Believe what you want, but it doesn’t change anything.”
With swift, practiced motions, he tied her hands together with rope, the coarse fibers biting into her skin. Wren’s breath hitched as he secured her to the bedpost, her heart racing with a terror she had never known. As Trevor began tearing open the front of her dress, buttons flew off like tiny bullets, clattering against the floor.
She thrashed against the bonds, but it was no use. Trevor’s strength far outmatched her own. Exhausted, her body went limp, tears spilling freely down her cheeks as she cried out, “Why… why are you doing this to me?”
Trevor’s voice was devoid of emotion, his eyes dark and void. “I waited a year patiently for you. All you ever gave me were chaste kisses and hand-holding. I thought I could wait for the payoff—your family’s wealth—but then you rejected my proposal.”
Wren shook her head, refusing to believe the words pouring from his mouth. “Not true… you’re lying.”
His grin widened, his expression dripping with malice. “Deny it all you want, but it’s the truth. I’m done waiting. If I can’t have your money, then I’ll take something else.”
With a swift motion, he ripped away the last barrier of her clothing, leaving her exposed and vulnerable. Wren’s eyes widened in disbelief as she stared at the man she once loved, now nothing more than a monster in her eyes.
“Please stop!” she cried, her voice breaking with despair. “Don’t do this!”
Trevor’s response was nothing but a cold, “Too late, Babe.”
He leaned down, forcing a kiss upon her. Wren bit down on his lip in desperation, but his retaliation was swift and brutal. The sting of his slap echoed in the room, her head snapping to the side as a sharp pain blossomed on her cheek. She tasted blood in her mouth and cried out in agony.
“I can’t believe you’re doing this to me,” she gasped, her voice trembling as tears streamed down her face.
Trevor’s gaze was dark, devoid of any semblance of humanity. “Believe it, Wren. It’s going to get a lot worse.”
Without warning, he forced himself into her, each movement a cruel violation of everything she thought she knew. Wren cried out in pain, the searing agony ripping through her as her world collapsed into darkness. Blood trickled down her thighs, mixing with the tears that soaked the sheets beneath her.
Trevor’s voice cut through the haze of pain and despair. “Now do you believe it? I said you’d be mine, one way or another.”
Wren’s body was paralyzed with shock, her mind barely able to comprehend the horror of what was happening. “You’re a bastard,” she spat, her voice weak but filled with a newfound hatred. “I hate you!”
Trevor’s response was cold and indifferent. “Love or hate, it’s all the same to me. As long as you’re mine, it doesn’t matter.”
His assault continued, each thrust more brutal than the last. Wren’s mind was a whirl of pain and disbelief. Will this ever end? she thought, her consciousness slipping into a merciful numbness.
After what felt like an eternity, Trevor let out a moan of satisfaction and collapsed on top of her, his weight suffocating her already struggling breath. When he finally rolled off her, Wren curled into a ball, her body trembling uncontrollably.
Trevor untied her hands, and she immediately pulled her knees to her chest, rocking back and forth as tears and whimpers escaped her. The physical pain was nothing compared to the emotional devastation tearing through her.
“Thanks, Babe,” Trevor sneered as he pulled on his clothes. “I suggest you keep your mouth shut. I’ll be back for more.”
The words sent a fresh wave of terror through Wren, and she went silent, her mind screaming in horror at the thought of enduring this nightmare again.
The door slammed shut behind him, leaving Wren alone in the dark, her body and soul shattered beyond repair.
