Stormi’s heart fluttered. “I feel the same way about you.”

Rex’s smile widened as he pulled her closer. “Come here.” He lifted her effortlessly and carried her to the bedroom, his eyes alight with a hungry anticipation. “It’s going to be a long night.”

Stormi’s voice was barely a whisper as she looked up at him, her eyes wide with a mix of shyness and eagerness. “I hope I can satisfy you.”

Rex’s gaze was filled with warmth and reassurance. “You already have.”

He gently laid Stormi on the bed, hovering above her with an intensity that made her heart pound. The night had only just begun.
